Kaws used to release his figures in limited edition runs. 300 to 1000 pieces per style, color.
The recent ones are all OE and the production runs are larger.

Thanks Adam, I've been a lurker for many years but now can finally afford to start collecting as landed a much better job ๐

Open edition means they made more than they want to tell you and they will continue to make them as long as they sell.
