Where did you hear that Rembrandt didn't paint the NightWatch by himself? I can't find any accredited reference to support that.

The MA-XRF costs 265 thousand euros and scans 80 by 60 centimeters per day. The Night Watch measures 363 by 438 centimeters, so the investigation takes approximately eight weeks. Then the restoration follows. There is a good chance that the clouds above the dog will disappear.
