BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by stevie0302 on Oct 9, 2019 21:10:17 GMT 1, Really interested to see how the art pieces will be sold. Always a pleasure to see new artworks of Banksy as he is to the point and breaks down complex problems into a simple, yet powerful picture. I really appreciate if art brings people to spend a second thought about critical topics. Would be more than awesome to add one piece to the collection.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by whyseepee on Oct 9, 2019 21:26:33 GMT 1, Hey guys, I am coming over from Paris next saturday to see the show (among other art galleries/museums visits). Wondered at what time actually is it dark in town these days as I have a plane to catch at 9:30 and I wanted to see the exhibition at dawn if not too late for me. Thanks!

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Steph Rat Catcher on Oct 9, 2019 21:34:57 GMT 1, Just read about some people paying kids to get them a poster. Unbelievable, yet it doesn't suprise me. Some people will do whatever they can to get a bit of easy money. As always though, it's the real fans that will miss out because of the actions of some selfish adults who should really know better. No surprise to see that grubby little shìtehawk Steph Ratcatcher selling 3 on the bay. shitehawk ? Tosser come say to my face .. & yea sold a fucking free posters wow ... why ur was it ur dad paying the kid outside like when he buys ur art .. come through big man ps got fucking loads fuck you

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Deleted on Oct 9, 2019 21:59:55 GMT 1, Petey with the girlfriend at the beauty salon is also trying to sell 2. Don't forget him after all that trouble with the number of his girlfriend. :')
I get that money is a strong motivator. I'm also not too fond of people pushing this game too far. But: Honestly I'm not very interested in reading about this. I'd rather read a couple more pages of "when will the shop open" and a couple "it's open" pranks and a bit of "what do you think the meaning of X is?" in between.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by rbk on Oct 9, 2019 22:04:43 GMT 1, Pretty sure Banksy and his people new exactly what would happen when he set the shop up.
Then he started handing out free flyers.
Is there a single person on the forum who did not expect to find them on eBay
Can anyone name a single release that has not been flipped
It’s just a part of the market so move on.
Lots of people who cannot make Croydon or cannot get one even when they did. So they are willing/happy to pay Steph to solve that problem
In a few months auction houses will be selling them etc so what’s the difference.
Every gallery who gets one will sell it at a profit

Money is the reason for 75% of this threads growth. It also explains most individuals interest in banksy as many are in it for the dollar signs.
no hate at all, just don't ignore whats spelled out so clearly in front of you. In fact, i love flippers more than anyone..without them I wouldn't have a lot of my art.
If I am unable to get a print/clock/etc, I hope enough flippers are able to get their hands on them to bring the price down to something 'manageable'

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by twist65 on Oct 9, 2019 22:09:42 GMT 1, Bugger it - Croydon and back is an 8 hour round trip for me but I've freed up tomorrow so I can go.. Early start and last train back, but Banksy spectacles in the UK are such rare events these days that I've got to go for a proper look, and you can't buy that on eBay.. Will do the KAWS show late morning and head over after lunch, if any forumistas are going and want to say hi drop me a PM..

You are saying that coz you have a lot of money to pay a fee or expensive artwork 5 or 10 x it’s real price. I’m not jealous at all, just saying that, on this forum, some people will only can afford banksy unlimited art at 10 or 50 quids, not more. With all my respect ( I don’t care anyway about flippers also, but, no, I won’t decorate them nor giving them publicity... because of that some artists put higher prices a the launch of a print to break this flipping euphoria. It’s not good for the people having a few money... Anyway I like tats !
