Seems to be quite a few showing as sold now on the Bay, including one BIN for 1725 euros...risky manoeuvre but I guess weโre starting to see a baseline forming Check sold items. 4 from the same seller sold. He accepted offer but each was listed at $1536 Some Dutch dude. And has another listed.

It was mentioned even on freaking hybebeast a week before and they had advertisements for it all over Ebay. Anyone who knows Nara's market and/or who really wanted one could have easily purchased this print during that hour+ it was up.

The artist have the right to the images, like AI Weiwei, but the museum, ebay, matchfire cannot sell the exact same print again.
Ebay and Matchfire have an exclusive contract to sell these and Dallas Contemporary currently has no stores online or physically. They only sell memberships and do not actually collect any art whatsoever.
If they sell more, everyone who purchased one, has the right to return them since it was sold as and exclusive print. Legally Ebay, Matchfire would have an issue on their hands. I would definitely say this is a very safe sale.

There is more of a need for buyers to learn not to hype, those who failed to buy to accept it with grace and for flippers to learn how to go about their business in a discreet and respectful manner.

I don't see his market hold up at these prices for too long, but there is so much dumb money in this scene now that who knows... Now I would sell anything I have of him if there wasnt a thousand more interesting artists and artworks that I preferred to acquire for my collection (why I own no works of Nara). But I would love someone to try and prove me that his work is worth what the market pays for it these days and that it is "important" art...
