He had a couple solo shows including Almine Rech in Brussel, which help a little nit. Id probably go for one at 2-2k but at 3.5k I passed.

I disagree, I think the choice and quality of what theyโre releasing is actually amazing. My problem is their high pricing!
But hey, have to hand it to them; theyโre making a mint and people are buying them up! Only time will tell if the business model can maintain this trajectory, but it sure doesnโt look like itโs slowing down any time soon.

These guys really turbocharge their prices. Also seated at the table, All Rights Reserved, Pace Prints and a couple of others.
Surprisingly Case Studyo have managed to keep it somewhat upper middle class affordable but not peasant affordable.

This is also true. All of these actions only hurt the people who really want it, which is probably unimportant to them because they get their pockets lined anyway.

I think it's just used to increase prices. "Oh we want to discourage flippers". Flippers have money. They will flip anything if they think they can make money from it. Collectors have to be more selective. Now we have situations where people are buying works that are not even worth what they paid for it on the secondary market. Collectors give artists longevity..not flippers. They're as fickle as the wind. If your collectors have moved on, what makes you think the flippers will stay around. You will get dropped for the next hot thing.
