This is a screen print on 50gsm paper. These prints were handed out at random times at GrossDo![]() mesticProuct show in Croydon. The exact edition number is unknown but these are rare.
Size: approx. 50.5 x 38.5cm
Year: 2019
Mint condition. The paper has naturally occurring waves from the screen printing process that you’d find on all these prints alike.

Thick ink on thin paper will cause a ripple once it’s dried (yes these are more than usual but they were given out as souvenirs).. Dface prints are known to cause a wave and they are on thick paper.

By the examples set by our friend WCP we can see that the intricacies of an image are lost in the reproduction process...This has been stated many times on this forum by people with far more screenprinting experience than me, yet still the "easy to fake" comments continue.

Someone skilled could probably create a screen that is close to the original (given it’s one colour and black) but I highly doubt it would fool people who have seen and handled authentic copies, there are quite a few small details that would likely be missed. It’s possible with enough time and money paying a printer and doing research to create a convincing fake but fraudsters don't tend to spend the money and time making perfect fakes because they don't need to, the best targets aren't experienced dealers and collectors but newcomers. Saying that when buying anything the source and provenance is just as important as the piece so always do your homework on them even if everything looks right.

Any fakes that come up people usually post here if they are wary about a purchase and the amount of members here with information and posters gained at the exhibition first hand by members within the forum, members can distinguish the fakes per example the tate ward tesco firebomb thread, if on the other hand you were not aware of the forum you may well be caught out again the same as the professionals at tateward

It’s entirely possible to view impressions handed out on the day and plenty of well known and respected members would willingly oblige, you could probably even arrange to view one if you wanted to be thorough. These can be authenticated like any other edition, using the exact same methods (which aren’t always perfect but seem to work most of the time), so sorry to say but you’re talking bollocks.

I’m sure it’s theoretically possible to make a good copy, but the idea it’s easy is nonsense.
You can’t just make a screen from the print and reprint identical copies. It would take quite a bit of effort to create a screen that produces an identical screen print with all the right detail.
