I'll be visiting Art Basel in Miami for the first time this year and I've never been to Miami before. I was hoping to get some recommendations for hotels to stay at, locations/places to visit, or even galleries to check out during the weekend.

How and where free tickets are offered to shows (I know you can score some watching the Art Basel page itself) ,what artists are selling prints where, etc.
Maybe even a place to share new pieces up on the walls in Wynwood.

My favorite part is just walking around Wynwood and seeing all the street art.
If you really want to take that in I would suggest either a full 8 hour day, or split it into 2 days.

For me it is more of an annual family visit, with some great art as a bonus.
I did however run all around town trying to grab one of the Martin Whatson drops with no luck last year.
