300 available indeed doesn't mean an edition of 300.
But seems highly unlikely they will flood the market. That's becoming an urban myth….

It most likely means there is an edition of 500 of 750, as most Banksy prints have.
And as I posted before, there might be a batch for wealthy art collectors at more market level prices.

The only thing I’ve seen that specifies numbered is the thrower triptych. Even banksquiat doesn’t which is a bit curious. I’d tend to believe it was a unintentional omission but certainly leaves open the possibility of a massive or ‘time’ limited edition or something Of the nature.

Banksy is now officially a brand and what do brands do...milk the brand until it is no longer profitable.

A lot of money and investment is poured into an artist that essentially has unlimited life span. Forget about worrying about what an edition is out of this brand you can't even tell you who he is, when he'll be dead or get into a proper museums collections. Banksy could run for another 200 years as the precious club of exclusivity gets more and more watered down. Just hand it over to the next person with a pencil who can write 5 letters.

The reality is this is good fun. Treat it as such and youll be better off because that's all it is. But please don't miss the other artists you bump into that are within his circle Dave King (RIP).

The wording makes me all but certain there will be more phases at higher prices. Cant see him fully blacklisting people from buying just because they have money.

VIPs may well have already purchased, but they've earned that right by supporting over the years and not flipping.

I'm guessing another lottery at higher prices.

Also, the Tony rug is still in production but coming soon.. which also all but confirms the shop is going to be open for longer than this current time frame.

To those who won legitimately last time; how many times did you enter that time (and this time via a different ip)? There must be a tipping point after which chances vastly increase.

Thats whats so interesting about this lottery method. There as so many products to bid for and so many time periods to apply during. Really hard to know the best strategy.

If somehow you had say, 50 entries, would you allocate them to one product all at once, one product throughout the two weeks or multiple products over the two weeks?

It's just your assumption that most Banksy fans registered immediately. It is true though that most entries are on the first day. However, the rules are quite clear, I don't see why they would say the picked time period is random if it is not. Will be fun to see if this could be checked after winners are known.

Yes, it is just my assumption, that's why I said 'I imagine'.
However, as I said the rules are not clear stating the random time period. These rules can only be seen in the t&c's as they differ from the home page. I would expect most people entered before reading through the extensive terms.

There is no way they are going to that amount of trouble and or expense of paying someone to do that.
Be prepared to be disappointed.

Why does everyone think correcting society’s problems is something Banksy has to do? Its the same with all of this anti-capitalism chat. Banksy runs a business and it seems he tries to help those in need where he can. Banksy and his team don’t owe anyone anything.

Sure.  A lot of things are possible.  Pest Control knows that I bought prints from POW since 2007-2008.  Last year they know that I applied for certification.  Thus, I am not a flipper.  Does that mean that I am a "art lover" and should get priority over you?   

My point is that they won't do it.  This happens every time there is a Banksy lottery.  People fill in the blanks with their projections of fairness and hope.  I suspect a lot of these posts (just as they have been in the past) will be placed in the waste bin of stupidity when we start seeing stories of gallery owners getting a print, someone's non fan co-worker who wants to immediately sell it, someone who figured out a way to have 50 entries, and on and on and on.  It happens here every lottery and I suspect that it will happen again.
