Banksy • Forgive Us Our Trespassing , by NYart on Dec 3, 2020 0:30:56 GMT 1, I can’t see anyone faking envelopes. It’s a weird textured likely recycled paper, if they wanted to do it right it wouldn’t be easy at all. Reproducing any of the other various Banksy posters without envelopes or receipts that buyers want/expect would be easier and as profitable if not more. Possible, sure, anything is, but it’s just not worthwhile in my opinion.

Banksy • Forgive Us Our Trespassing , by Treclau on Dec 3, 2020 0:35:20 GMT 1, How did you guys frame your posters? Did you guys flatten it before framing or did you leave it as it is? Mine is arriving in a couple of days so i could use some inspiration.
I didn’t bother flattening prior to framing as I found the fold lines actually help to keep the sheet taut. If you’re thinking more in terms of minimising the visibility of the folds, it really depends on the condition of your copy and whether the paper has started to fur along the fold lines. If that’s the case, it may be best to avoid flattening 🙂

Ok, if it helps taut the poster then maybe it is worth keeping the folds. My poster is in the mail now and it is mint, i bought it from an old employee at Don’t Panic who had a couple of posters saved from when he worked there. Now i just need to decide on a frame for it .

Banksy • Forgive Us Our Trespassing , by pidge on Dec 12, 2020 13:35:37 GMT 1, I'm offering up a couple of these genuine Banksy Forgive Us Our Trespassing posters from the 'Don't Panic' packs. Posters are mint (but folded), double sided with the Exit Through The gift Shop image on the verso. Sadly I no longer have the packs to go with the posters. I'm looking for £600 each for these......constructive input on price welcomed. A face to face is always easy so the buyer can inspect but also happy to send detailed photos and videos and I can send if a deal is struck. Please DM with interest.
Cheers

Banksy • Forgive Us Our Trespassing , by panicbristol on Dec 15, 2020 13:06:33 GMT 1, I've decided to sell the flat, unfolded, single sided copy of Trespassing.
ebay.us/rZrVQf?cmpnId=5338273189
It was hanging on the Don't Panic office wall in Bristol so was kept flat and is in good condition with a single crease and few bumps here and there. The photos show these.

My framer wanted to look at it first to see what he would recommend.

Banksy • Forgive Us Our Trespassing , by 2manyprints on Dec 19, 2020 0:54:53 GMT 1, Wow glad I found this thread because I wanted to know the exact same thing! I just got mine delivered today and it's in great condition still in the original Don't Panic sleeve. I'm not planning on framing it, so for storage purposes my biggest question is whether I should flatten it out or keep it folded in its original sleeve. Something tells me that over time, keeping it folded might not be the best way to go because as the years go by I envision the creases will put more and more strain on the paper fibers and eventually cause whitening or even tearing. But I'm not a professional so I'd love to hear if this has any merit? If I were to flatten it, I would probably just place it in my large print portfolio and leave it to flatten itself out. Any advice here is greatly appreciated!

Well, I don't know about The banksy, I prefer the Esso one.
And this image was from Gagnon or vice versa ?
Just found a thread about - long long comments before us about these two ( Brainswah is out anyway ) ;-)

Banksy • Forgive Us Our Trespassing , by Deleted on Jan 12, 2021 9:12:55 GMT 1, Are there different versions of the 'Forgive Us' posters? I've been tracking some on Ebay for around £500-£1000 and some come with envelopes etc. Do they all have Exit Through The Gift Shop printed on the rear?
Love that Rat. Looks in great condition too.

I don't think there are different versions, but I'm no expert — someone here will know more. But I do think they originally came with an envelope. Mine does not have it. It is double-sided though, with the Exit Through the Gift Shop on the rear. Can provide framed or unframed.
Thanks for the comment!

Banksy • Forgive Us Our Trespassing , by Deleted on Jan 12, 2021 10:40:00 GMT 1, Hi all — ahead of an upcoming auction for a piece I want to buy (Banksy unsigned), I wanted to sell some of my smaller Banksy bits to help contribute to the massive price rise! All have been purchased from auction houses or galleries. I'm based in London, so would prefer for buyer to collect in person. If not, will send via insured post once funds received. Not selling internationally. Summary: - Forgive Us Our Trespassing, 2010: Offers >£1,300
- Vandalism as Modern Art, 2018: Offers > £2,250
- GDP Rat, 2019: Offers > £2,900
Condition, excellent on all. Will give this an end date of a couple of days, and whoever sends through the highest offer matching the above will get the piece. If no interest, will edit this thread to reflect that and hold on to the items Forgive Us Our Trespassing, 2010 (bought from Chiswick Auctions last year - June 2nd) Looking at Artsy these are going for around £1300 - £1750 so will accept offers via DM in this region. Vandalism as Modern Art, 2018 (bought from EyeLikeArt a couple of months ago) Well aware one of these sold for a high figure (~£8k); but I think it was an abnormal sale, I'd take above £2,250 for this. It comes framed. GDP Rat, 2019 (I visited the Croydon exhibition last year and managed to secure one) — have lots of evidence, including photos of me receiving it from the brown coat guy! Accepting offers above £2900 — can be provided framed or not. (me on the train back to central London from Croydon, taking a photo — not able to contain excitement!) Thanks so much for taking the time to check these out. All are stunning pieces, and great entry points for anyone not prepared to do the £15k+ minimum to get the unsigned prints. I'll happily hold onto them, but just want to decrease the dent in my wallet at the upcoming auction. Cheers! Hi,
What happened to your website. You were dealing in a few Banksy prints and all of a sudden the site was taken down.

Good luck with the sale

How much would one be worth untouched in all the original pack then? Really cool image - always thought was undervalued <as said above> compared to petrol bomb etc - shame about the creases but it still works with them - good luck with the sale

Banksy • Forgive Us Our Trespassing , by scott134 on Jan 12, 2021 11:23:04 GMT 1, I'm aiming to go at around 75% of whatever Laz is selling stuff at + an average of eBay / recent auctions. Hopefully it comes across as fair, understanding the momentum in the market + provenance + quality etc.
Again, this is just my assessment and what I would let these go for. Purely personal opinion, I have priced them a little more generous on account of the fact that I want the cash to contribute to a bid in one of the Jan auctions upcoming.

You were dealing in a few Banksy prints and all of a sudden the site was taken down. Please explain Not taking ARTSY's values into account is such a bogus price
Hi all — ahead of an upcoming auction for a piece I want to buy (Banksy unsigned), I wanted to sell some of my smaller Banksy bits to help contribute to the massive price rise!
(me on the train back to central London from Croydon, taking a photo — not able to contain excitement!)
