I am no great economist, but it was just published that the UK (and Japan) were officially and technically in recessions. We are just at the beginning of this. Someone needs to buy Pint o' Cockles Welcome Mat, but everyone needs to realize, we are now at the beginning of the 'official' down slide. You can't print vast quantities of money forever. It is like a boa constrictor trying to digest a deer. We are now in it for a good bit.
On a positive note, real estate prices should begin to plummet in the next 3 - 6 months.

As someone who has one hanging on my wall, I'll admit that at first it seems a little weird to have a 'welcome mat' framed but they tell such a powerful story through the materials used and who made them.
And they have made it quite clear that no more will be created.
