i inquired about the eBay cushions and asked if they would be able to provide emails from GDP and other paperwork to support authenticity. While not 100% dispositive I would say his answer does lend some credibility. Would be hard to fake a GDP lotto paper trail, no?

Agree with thedolphin regarding the message about care as “off”. There were also 2 other things I picked up from the photos that were inconsistent with my experience. Like him though, I don’t want to help forgers forge, so I don’t want to detail them

From what I've seen of the set of cushions on eBay that are at £21k, I don't think they're fake but it's obviously alarming that he openly makes copies.
The reason I don't think they're fake is that I received my cushions today and everything he says is accurate. That's not to say I'd bid with any degree of confidence.
All I've used this forum for before has been to buy a Peter Blake print a few years ago... I feel very lucky (and slightly daunted) to have 'won' the cushions. I had no idea they'd be worth what people seem to be bidding!

Nobody can tell what PC will do until next year. Yes you could go on Santas naughty list, but it should not affect you getting a COA for your GDP piece.
Then again, I've been on Santas naughty list for over 50 years
