However the problem I see with these cans is that there are many replicas currently finding their way onto the market. Buyers are always going to remain highly sceptical and even with the provided proof of purchase, receipts, tracking numbers ect the buyer is still taking on a reasonable element of risk in the event of a bait and switch. Not that I think you would do such a thing however unscrupulous and underhanded art deals take place more often than not. Without a COA it certainly reduces the value significantly and there will always be a question mark and doubt over the items authenticity even with the accompanying documents.

I wouldn’t spend 5k on a can that’s being replicated daily, so well that you can’t distinguish it from the genuine pieces. If I were you, I’d take the 20k, or keep it and display it for your own enjoyment.

The OPs looks good and it may be possible to ask PC before handing over a wedge of cash for good measure. They might reply. I don’t know without a COA. I love them. GLYS but at the right price both parties need to be as sure as possible the deal is legitimate, especially the buyer. One of the best Banksy items imo. A tenner well spent.
