His market's on the ascent big time since he signed with Zwirner, but thankfully his prints haven't caught up so still relatively well priced for an artist of his calibre.
There are three colourways in the Bein' Green series:
Bein Green, available from David Zwirner
Bein Green (or Yellow), available from Captain Flame (Now Ordinary Flame, long story)
Bein Green (or Red), available from Fondation Beyeler
All from an edition of 43

Sure but that’s with his early flame and plant paintings which were solid. Wait till the icebergs and match sticks start to come up for auction which are already overpriced then you will see the downturn. The artworld is a delayed reaction.

And yea the Matchstick is nice - weird display requirements tho which you don't see that often! I think it's a litho, and having one of the flame prints they do capture the painterly essence much better than these woodcuts. |
