Perrotin is pleased to participate in Frieze New York Online with a curated selection of works by artists from the gallery's program, accessible via the fairโs digital portal between May 8-15, 2020.
The galleryโs presentation includes a selection of artworks from Jean-Michel Othonielโs iconic Precious Stonewall and Lotus series. Concurrently, the artist has an ongoing installation at Musรฉe du Louvre, entitled La Rose du Louvre, which coincides with a recent acquisition of Othonielโs paintings by the museum. We will debut new paintings by Gabriel de la Mora, Zach Harris, John Henderson, and Izumi Kato, alongside new sculptures from Daniel Arshamโs concept of fictional archaeology and Paola Piviโs pearl series. Additionally, Perrotin will present several sculptures by Gabriel Rico, following the Guadalajara-based artist's recent inclusion in the 58th edition of the Venice Biennale.
Following a major presentation at Pilane Sculpture Park in Sweden the gallery will present a suite of sculptures by Johan Creten, who will also have an exhibition at Villa Medicis later this year. Finally, following a retrospective at IMMA in Dublin and a major new installation at Dhaka Art Summit, the gallery will debut a series of sculptures by Bharti Kher.
Perrotin will also display artworks by Ivรกn Argote, Jean-Philippe Delhomme, Hans Hartung, Bernard Frize, JR, Thilo Heinzmann, Leslie Hewitt, Lee Bae, Takashi Murakami, and Julio Le Parc.

As part of #CreateArtforEarth, Judy Chicago curates a virtual reality online art exhibition as well as an exhibition at Turner Carroll Gallery titled Solstice: Create Art for Earth.
This exhibition will debut on 20 June to coincide with the summer solstice.

During a period of isolation in her London home, Tracey Emin made a series of works that offer insight into the sanctuary of the domestic realm. Focusing on a range of intimate interior spaces, these small paintings are concise studies that, for Emin, represent a โtransference of emotions and placeโ.
After twenty years living in the same house, the artist is on the brink of leaving it for a new home. The memories and her sense of belonging, coupled with feelings of anticipation and the prospect of adventure, coalesce in these works. A glimpsed domestic object, such as a chair or bed, takes shape like an elusive recollection, while the bath, a familiar trope in art history, provides the private setting for intimate reflection. An air of stillness and tranquillity pervade the scenes, embodied by the figure reclining contentedly in the quietude.

It kinda reminds me of the time I got ahold of a supposed blurry old picture of Banksy, and used Microsoft Paint to enhance the detail in his face. Like in CSI.
