Not sure how I feel abut this.
In one way, it's cementing his legacy, and generations who weren't even born when it was made get to see and enjoy it. But in another way it's the opposite of what the ephemeral nature of graffiti is about. Is this what he would have wanted?

They should have secured/ stabilised / saved elements were possible and then patched in the area's using the original materials were possible. IMO
Alternatively if it was a genuine street piece originally as opposed to a commissioned mural for the local community it would be best left to decay and fade away.
