Thanks Tristan

Tristan Manco ๐ฌ๐ง Graffiti Author โข Graffiti Brazil , by Trismanco on Sept 10, 2010 16:21:25 GMT 1, Three Mexican artists - Dhear, Saner and Neuzz - who feature in the book have a show opening next week in Barcelona at the Montana gallery...
I'll be showing some artworks and drawings from all three at the book launch.
Here are some links to the artists in question...

I found so much young talent in Mexico in the last few years that in the end a third of the artists in the book are from Mexico...

Will try and make this one as well, subject to work commitments.

Tristan Manco ๐ฌ๐ง Graffiti Author โข Graffiti Brazil , by Trismanco on Sept 11, 2010 12:39:51 GMT 1, Thanks for the interest. I think the only way to get the USA cover version will be on the US Amazon site.
The UK and American covers look like this, featuring Ripo & Saner...
The French and Italian translations look like this, featuring Titifreak, Dran and Neuzz on the covers...
I'm hoping that it'll be something similar to the Rough Trade launch last time but with an art show as well and display of the book spreads.
The first Street Sketchbook was about the drawing process, which of course is the basic foundations of art. For me it was exciting to publish artist's hidden sketchbooks, to talk about drawing and their artistic processes. It was basically an excuse to publish beautiful and original drawings by artists like Blu, Banksy, Escif, Remed etc...
The second book, Street Sketchbook: Journeys isn't as much about sketches, although there are a lot of them in there. The "Street Sketchbook" concept is in the title but this new book's subject is about the artist's creative journey - how artist's develop their ideas, just a little step further than the 1st book. For me this is what makes each artist original, someone who is really searching for their own expression. Hopefully by reading and seeing the different journeys that each artist has taken to create their visual world, the reader will be inspired or be confident to take their own path.
* Good buy on the Elph sketch...
