At their original prices, many were stuck to walls with blutac, pinned to the wall, sellotape etc, you can also add dodgy framing. Anyone holding on to a mint/near mint will be enjoying them on their wall!

i think those pinned to a wall by blue tack or sellotape or tacks will be enjoyed as much if not more so than those in mint condition. I would also proffer that a fair few mint ones havent seen the light of day let alone a framers workshop.
Saleable condition is subjective, it wouldn’t bother me to buy any old prints with condition issues so there are plenty buyers out there who will gladly buy prints with condition issues.
