At what point did this evil cabal take over? Why didnt banksy speak up at that point?
He was not famous for a long time so wouldnt have had anything to lose by speaking up if this happened early on. And if it was later on, why wouldnt he just go to any of a thousand other galleries and continue to release his own work?

There are plenty of people who can make terrible art on their own. If anything we need more art collectives with good PR and an ability to create relevant, timely, political art.

I have to admit I know very little about Mr Shurman just what I saw in a youtube video and old article online. I like his paintings though and the style. They remind me of a modern day Van Gogh. |
