These grifters** exist because of Banksy, use the work of Banksy, and benefit financially entirely due to Banksy's appeal and fanbase. And they back that up with none of the hard work, and none of the good stuff that comes with Banksy. It's all grift and little graft.

I was around the scene at the right time and living in Bedminster (Bristol) but honestly did not particulary like Banksys work!

This is not being influenced by another artist. It is copying another artists work for profit. If they put half as much time into creating their own art they might do better.
The artificial demand, multiple UAA hype accounts, crate gimmicks and now the auction gimmick shows some creativity, it's a pity it is channelled into selling counterfeit goods.
