New Urban Art Group Show @Take a Butcher's Gallery, DUS, by Take a Butchers Gallery on Nov 21, 2019 15:39:11 GMT 1, After several exhibitions with international artists - featuring My Dog Sighs, Nomad Clan, rocket01, PolarBear Stencils amongst others - the Düsseldorf based Take a Butcher's Gallery presents with "Concrete, Rust & Untold Stories" its first solely German show. On the walls are exceptional works of Christian Rothenhagen (deerBLN)/Berlin, René Meyer (rmyr)/Leipzig and Stefan Winterle/Weil am Rhein. All three have a solid international reputation and were exhibited in Germany, across Europe, in the U.S., Australia and Asia.
"Concrete, Rust & Untold Stories" deals with urban and industrial sceneries, personal observations and change. With his minimalistic approach, Christian Rothenhagen captures (often long gone) places in his hometown Berlin and his second home San Francisco. René Meyer's focus is on complex hand-cut stencil works, and he often uses metal in addition to the industrial subjects. Stefan Winterle is also a masterful stencil artist, spraying imaginary urban scenes on broken concrete kerbstones.
"Concrete, Rust & Untold Stories" runs until the end of year. More info on www.takeabutchers.gallery
