But if your whole ethos is that the planet is in trouble and all your art carries that message, there is kind of a responsibility not to add to that. Would fewer people enter without the postcard? There are legalities to running a "lottery". In this case there is no technical lottery, everyone is purchasing a product. They are then choosing from the purchase list to buy the edition. If there was no "purchase to enter" than everyone and their grandma will enter with multiple accounts, encourage flipping etc. This is smart - and its for charity. I can't pretend to have any knowledge of lottery or raffle laws in Spain, but lotteries for art happen (GDP just did one) and he does expressly call this a lottery on his website.
I still think his methodology is hypocritical, but I'm not judging anyone for entering his lottery. My criticism is of him for not practicing what he preaches.

Pejac seems like someone who found a niche with his artistic direction, but does he really actually care about the environment if he cannot be arsed with trying to find a way to stop wasting what his art dictates
Will add that i do like how on the open edition and this he adds a little HF/Stamp. Maybe less of the containers go to landfills.
Maybe they're made of recycled products? But doubtful.

It's a good way to game everyone who enters because you know the whole run is not available. You do not know what the actual odds are. How many are for sale? 50? If that? You're pissing your money away. If you want to donate €20 just donate it. ... this ...

It should be 100% legitimate in this instance. If it's just a free lottery where GP sells only 30% fine, but holding back prints for VIP's ect and asking this of the general population would be unacceptable.

Don’t see anything wrong with that. Is it a lottery? Probably not for most of the edition but prefer this, even if I don’t get one, to losing out to bots and finding half the edition on ebay the next day at 4 times the price. For me they could even make it 2 years for the COA to discourage flipping even more.

Actually I think if I were to spend on a full sized Pejac then this would be one of my first choices, think it's a well executed print. All down to personal taste though.

This is more disrespect, incompetence or simply fraudulent behavior as they are asking non EU customers to pay a tax that they will not have to pay. Also, don't lotteries have to follow certain legal requirements in Europe? He s opening himself to a lawsuit from disgruntled non winners for sure. Good job Max, nice management...
Again, sale execution nowhere near in par with the artistic execution
