Eine London Print Release, by ab3 on Dec 5, 2019 12:25:09 GMT 1, Somethings up with his stuff at the moment. That's a good price for one of his and i'm wondering how this will sell. When looking at the piece he produced for Movember it sold so slowly. People aren't buying his stuff at the moment.
Why is that?
Is it because he is doing the same thing over and over? Has he gone out of fashion? Is it because of some of the stuff which went on in his personal life?

It is an open edition though. Answer to your questions is probably a mix of all three as well as a lot of the prints he's been releasing recently are mediocre at best.

Has he gone out of fashion? Is it because of some of the stuff which went on in his personal life? A combination of the last three, I think, although not sure how widely people know about his personal life. He's released so many different editions in the last few years that there's plenty out there to choose from. I think he had four or five editions on sale at Art Car Boot Fair last week, including this one.
If you've got one or two pieces by him, I'm not sure what would drive you to buy more, given they're largely very similar. A big collection of Eine pieces would look quite odd, I think.

Eine London Print Release, by bentheartfan on Dec 5, 2019 13:04:25 GMT 1, I don’t think it’s Eine’s personal life - my wife and I had a good chat about Degas last night .... his art seems to do well despite a fairly reprehensible personal life
(I have two frames Eines - haven’t bought more recently, but haven’t unframed any either )

Eine London Print Release, by Jaylove on Dec 5, 2019 13:05:15 GMT 1, It’s not because of the art itself. Plenty of mediocre art sells. It’s the lack of buzz or hype. The community is built off of that.
I also think he has a lot of stuff out there. Like a print a week it seems.

His releases are frequent, and largely not much of an increase in price to buy over the last few years. I’d agree lack of buzz or hype, which for him financially leads to more frequent releases at inexpensive prices to maintain cash flow. All of the city prints have been terrible. The London one looks like something someone with limited talent would make in art school.

Not sure if he has any, the word paintings on old paintings was also an art school project. I always found his word choices mostly trite. Dig the alphabet works, circus font especially, thought the missing W a great idea. Punching your girlfriend in the mouth at an art opening never a good career step.

True, he was running out of ideas if not out when he punched her, obviously pent up anger realizing his 15 minutes were over.

Eine London Print Release, by tab1 on Dec 7, 2019 11:00:57 GMT 1, Was it reported because it was publicly witnessed ?a lot of domestic abuse victims suffer in silence and do not report attacks , was this a one off occurrence ? A punch to the face probably not ? Would it be acceptable to buy Rolf Harris works even after he supports charities ?

Eine London Print Release, by Hairbland on Dec 7, 2019 13:20:53 GMT 1, What never gets mentioned is all the good stuff Ben is involved with, mental health charities etc. He does so much positive stuff. Yes he had a moment of total madness, can’t argue, there are no excuses.....but i’m sure he’s more than aware of the mistakes and the demons he has to now live with. Respect to his work and contribution imo. Usually with those that do this it is not a moment of madness but a pattern of behavior. Rare that someone does this only once.
