POW pick up, by rickyc on Oct 30, 2006 14:52:54 GMT 1, Posting like a madman today.
I've heard a few people mention that they have been into POW recently to pick up their prints, rather than paying the delivery fee.
How can I go about this?
I have ordered 4 prints over the last month or two, and delivery has cost my ยฃ28 thus far. In the back of my mind I'm thinking that money could've been better spent on my next print purchase (depite complete lack of wall space) rather than delivery.
I work just down the road from them as well, so picking up wouldn't be an issue, if it is an option.
Thanks Rick

POW pick up, by victorwilliams on Oct 30, 2006 15:19:26 GMT 1, So you work just up the road but you still buy the print over the internet and pay postage? Why dont you just book an appointment and go there, where you can see the prints in the flesh before you buy and no postage cost.

POW pick up, by rickyc on Oct 30, 2006 16:13:54 GMT 1, Down the road is a slight exageration, but I could quite easily get there and back in a lunch hour.
Do they mind having people go in to pick up.
I was just concerned that they may not want too many people going in, considering I am only purchasing ยฃ25 - ยฃ50 prints...?
Thanks for your help though
Rick

POW pick up, by twigboy on Oct 30, 2006 22:50:09 GMT 1, I went to their old office and picked a print up once, and they're really nice people... but I think some of us forget... POW is an internet business really, and not a shop... I don't think Amazon allows you to go and pick up books and CD's, cause you live near the offices ;-) POW becomes a shop when Santas Ghetto happens.. Which by the way, any news of where its yet?
