1. release prints on the site 24 hours before sending the email - will help to relieve the load when you release the email and the get hammered - also those watching the site often get a chance to get something they want

I second that. ;D managed to get a signed Alex yesterday when most people were totally unaware. Now its carnage!!
Put the prints on the site THEN send out the e-mail a bit later. Well done POW
