Would anyone be interested in starting postcard trading?
Could be a blind thing, swap details and see what comes in the mail.
I'm not sure if this has been suggested on the forum previously? I couldn't find anything.
Also not sure if this is a bit of a low rent idea for this crowd, some of the prints I see flying around on here make my head spin.
Edit: new rules so it's not just me getting all the trade offers, post you're willing to trade, arrange via PMs, edit post if you're done with trades, EZ BB

I've now got a few trades going that are probably going to take up all my semi-interesting/not-disappointing cards that I have right now...if this thread runs out of steam no big worry but if people are still keen on the idea, does anyone have any thoughts on how to set it up more communal?
My inclination is to just say people post in the thread that they are interested in a trade, specify if blind or not, maybe give country and whether they'd be happy to trade overseas (this could just be handled in PM if people aren't comfortable posting) then edit the post once they've done the number of trades they're happy with.
Anyone with more forum experience have any ideas? I saw the secret santa was done differently.

Would be good to do some general trades but also on the lookout for Kaws (not YSP), Banksy (pre Bristol Museum) and Hirst. Good hunting.

irl1 I don't doubt it! Only mentioning because I had said earlier in the thread that I'd had a message from my housemate saying it had arrived, apparently that was actually my Pejac lottery card so not a bad trade off.

Lush selection from kjg
Back of the Agent Provocateur postcard because it is lovely:
Huge pile from overend that I'm still working my way through, split into two photos because of volume!
I'm taking a break while I replenish stocks haha!
Hope the trades continue independent of me, I'll be back after I go to some more shows!

I've been lucky to get some really nice selections off people from here and I hope they at least had a few they liked from me, but even if you get some stuff you aren't into it's hardly a big loss.
Either way Ive had fun doing it, discovered some cool artists, expanded my collection, hope it continues

It's good to see the pics of what's received. I will definitely join in once I've unpacked my boxes of stuff to see what I have.
