The first edition (of 1000) comes with stickers, but from the beginning it's been labeled as open (not everyone on the forum agreed on this, but this is the official version). So, the first edition is made of 1000 prints (that come with stickers). This is the second run of the same open edition (another 1000). In fact, sotheby's was right, in a certain way.
We don't know how many editions will be printed, someone on the forum presume that once the exhibition was over, no more posters (pardon, prints) will be made. I don't really know.

Kyne is a Japanese Opie and Hime is looking like tesco brand of Kyne. I would hope that Hime would try to keep more pieces to be 80s or older and nostalgic just to not be an exact copy of kyne.
I always wonder if there's a consequence for this kind of thing where one artists style is very similar to another or the public just eat it up.
Could it be that Kyne is so limited, expensive & inaccessible that Hime creates a market for himself off of these factors??

He uses a traditional Japanese hatchet (nata) to make his pieces and uses reclaimed wood from demolished traditional Japanese houses whenever available.    
I love Hirosuke Yabeโs work. Iโve only discovered it in recent weeks but would love to have something in the collection. Thanks for sharing.

The gallery told me not to waste my money on the posters on ebay as there would be this new print release next year and they hinted it might be a timed edition so a chance for everyone to get one.

Thereโs quite a number of domestic/within Japan only galleries etc I find. Is it just because international shipping is so expensive from there? I do find it is, at times, prohibitively expensive.
