On the sidelines of Art Fair Tokyo 2023, Night Out Gallery is happy to present to you the solo show of Ryuji Kamiyama. The reception party will be on Friday the 10th of March from 6pm to 10pm. The exhibition will be from the 11th of March to the 20th of March 2023.
From the artist: I had originally spray painted this piece on the wall to check the colors and clogged caps.โจOne day, when I looked back at the wall surface, it was interesting to see how the overlapping layers of colors, which I had not intentionally painted, looked different.โจThis is a fragmentary, less-than-perfect record of my painting on canvas, a work that was shownโจI have been wanting to do a spray painting for a while now, so I will be displaying some of the faceless I have enjoyed expressing in his space. Spray is interesting after all.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Ryuji Kamiyama Born in Tokyo in 1972, he entered the apparel industry from the graphic industry in the early 90โs. He started his brand โFAMOUZโ in Uraharajuku, in the early 90โs. Following his activities, he left behind live painting on the streets and in public spaces, and held exhibitions in SF, LA, Scandinavia, etc., starting with his first solo exhibition in 2003. In recent years, he has continued to paint murals, showrooms, and windows in Japan and abroad, with a focus on exhibitions in Japan.
Dates : 03/11 โ 03/20 Opening party : 03/10 from 6pm to 10pm Closed on 03/14 and 03/15

Visit TOKYO ๐ฏ๐ต Japan Street Art, Galleries, Events, by artoys on Apr 2, 2023 0:43:59 GMT 1, Night Out Gallery is happy to present to you our first group show โPARTY PEOPLEโ FEATURING : Motas / Yuta Okuda / Yok / Geoffrey Bouillot / Rooo Lou / Jeremy Yamamura / Adam Handler
The reception party was on Friday the 31th of March from 6pm to 9pm. The exhibition will be from the 1st of April to the 16th of April 2023. ABOUT THE SHOW (ENGLISH):
We will present a special space where the works of emerging artists from Japan and abroad will come together. Motas, which creates unique and warm works by combining abstract patterns, is the Japanese art unit. Yuta Okuda, a former TAKEO KIKUCHI designer, uses precise line drawings and colors to show the contingency of flowers and animals. Yok, from the Philippines, whose clean lines and simple graphic compositions are memorable, usually used black and white, but he is recently using colors in his paintings. Geoffrey Bouillot, from France, has a minimalistic yet chic and fresh style inspired by Japanese and French culture. Rooo Lou presents simple portraits with a minimum of detail, but the depth of the gaze and facial expression is captivating. Jeremy Yamamuraโs characters, initially inspired by a simple doodle, took on various shapes and forms over time, always spreading a positive fun energy while often giving a social commentary. Adam Handlerโ s recognizable characters such as bats, ghosts, and wide-eyed girls embody innocence and adolescent energy that the very best of artists will tell you is close to impossible to render with fresh authenticity.
Feel free to contact us for the price list : nightoutgallery@gmail.com

Night Out Gallery is happy to present to you a solo show of Umehara Yoshiyuki : ใInvisible Mirror.ใ The reception party will be on Friday the 12th of May from 6pm to 9pm. The exhibition will be from the 13th of May to the 28th of May 2023.
NIGHT OUT GALLERY ใงใฏ Umehara Yoshiyuki ใฎๅๅฑโ้ๆใช้กโ.ใ้ๅฌใใใใพใใ
ใstatementใ The Invisible Mirror
When I look into someoneโs eyes, my own image and gaze bounce off their eyes and return to me. When I look at a painting, my gaze also bounces off the square screen as rays of light and returns to me. I sometimes feel as if the painted eyes are sending me their gaze, but I suspect that it is my own gaze that is being reflected back. When I look into the painted eyes, my image is not reflected. However, I feel that my image is bound to the other side of the gaze. I can confirm my existence through the gaze (invisible reflection) sent by the painting.
ใProfileใ Umehara Yoshiyuki
Born in 1997, Umehara Yoshiyuki graduated from Tama Art University in 2020 with a BFA in oil painting. Major exhibitions include โFACEโ solo exhibition at gallery Room A, โBring It Backโ solo exhibition at gallery ARTDYNE, and โFormโ two-person exhibition at gallery TOWED. Why is it that we feel the sensation of being gazed upon by things, and feel the presence of things and spaces? Through the paintings, I think about the existence of โthingsโ and โIโ.
Dates : 05/13 โ 05/28
Thursday to Sunday from 1pm to 7pm, Opening party : 05/12 from 6pm to 9pm, Closed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
