One of my friends has just been to York earlier today and spoke to someone on the desk. They confirmed they weren’t expecting anymore and apologised for the disappointing news !

Too bad, would have loved one. I called them earlier this week but couldn’t get through.

It is a fantastic poster - for those of you who have paid the higher prices on secondary, you will not be disappointed. I genuinely had to do a double take when I took it out of the tube for the photos because the quality is second to none.
York Posters: So good they only made them once.

I got an email from York gallery during the week, someone posted same email on this thread saying Posters would be issued to all buyers.
I phoned the shop yesterday and they said if you had already registered your email you would get one
I still bought one of eBay for well over retail as reports were so good on here.
I still think people will get from gallery, they needed to sort out payment system they said

Personally I think it's madness to spend silly money on these at the minute. The show is only in week one - the printer and museum make a decent profit on these, particularly if they sell quickly - I'd be pretty hopeful they will be restocked in the coming weeks. I also got an email confirmation that previously registered interest will be sorted out. These are certainly not worth spending a grand on IMO at present. Patience is a virtue!

I do think they are being clever though as I asked if more were being produced and she said that there was such a back log of orders to fulfil that no more would be offered for sale, that makes me think that there is definitely another run being done but they don’t want to say when or how many.
I also asked about the fact people had been told they would not run out and she apologised, she said demand had been much more than what they had expected.
I managed to get one the second day of the exhibition (work in York) and the quality is ridiculous for a poster so I couldn’t see how they would just keep churning them out.
