Banksy the Genova Unofficial Exhibition. , by urbanwear on Jan 24, 2020 14:21:16 GMT 1, Yesterday i visited the unofficial Banksy exhibition in Genova (Italy), prints and artwork from private and the Andipa Gallery Collection. The exhibition has no merchandised only a detailed catalogue, it doesn’t seemed to have been banned as “fake” by Banksy.
Not everyone might agree with my point of view, but I liked it, it gave me the possibility to see a lot of Banksy’s artwork all together, amazing to see “live” these vibrant colours and the actual size and proportions of these prints and what they look like hung on a wall.
Anyway a few photos of the show. (Done over 100 photos, these ones I found more unusual)
Flyer
Self-Portrait 2001-2002, spray paint and acrylic splash on panel.
Lab Rat, Glastonbury 2000, spray paint and acrylic on marine ply.
Radar Rat 2008, offset litho for record sleeve.
Lying to Police, 2007 spray paint and mixed media on board.
Naplam 2006, silkscreen. In this version Banksy adds blood stains.
Rubber Ducky 2006, acrylic on canvas.
Bunny in Armoured Car 2002, spray paint on canvas.
Dismaland Print 2015, silkscreen print.
Grenade 1999, spray paint on panel.
Ghetto Superstore 1999, silkscreen on t-shirt.
Heavy Weaponry 1999, silkscreen on t-shirt.
Timeline map.
Untitled 1999, lenticular print on card.
Leopard Barcode 1999, spraypaint on filing cabinet.
Family Target 2003, spray paint on board.
CCTV Britania 2009, spray paint on steel grill.
Mickey Snake 2015, fibreglass, polyester resin.
Cloud DJ 1998-1999, spray paint on acrylic board.
Record Sleeves, Richard Forrest Collection.
