Art ideas for a kid that requested a lion on his wall?, by bestdj777 on Jan 25, 2020 13:42:06 GMT 1, First, sorry this is in this section. Didn’t really see a place to post general questions but figured having it off the sales thread would be the best option.
Just bought a Dran poster (ballerina with paint brushes) for my daughter’s room and it’s such a perfect fit for her and her spunky personality. My almost three year old son asked where his art is. Any suggestions on something affordable (It will have some light exposure and I don’t plan to invest in museum glass) that is kid appropriate but not boring? He asked for “lions” so maybe something with animals?
Thank you in advance for any help. They’ve seen “Daddy’s” art collection (mostly Stik and Banksy) and would love if they share my appreciation for art.

Art ideas for a kid that requested a lion on his wall?, by elberto77 on Jan 25, 2020 14:25:03 GMT 1, One of ARDIF’s mechanimals? Prints are not too expensive on release and look really nice on the wall. Try prettyportal.de or Ardif directly if you want more info on upcoming releases or past editions. Here’s an example of his tiger print which was 130€ on release I think

Art ideas for a kid that requested a lion on his wall?, by bestdj777 on Jan 27, 2020 3:23:14 GMT 1, ... or if he likes leopards, buy him a nice Barcode print😉
Haha, he’d love that. Very tempting. If money were no object, I’d get him a Tony the Tiger rug for his floor and a Bar Code for his wall. Was actually half tempted to bring my Save or Delete poster up from my office and put it in his room, but my wife thought it wasn’t exactly kid friendly.

i would argue that it would be very stimulating for his view on the future of our planet, paired along with other animal prints and posters

And you would lose, as I do in most art related arguments with her 😛 But, I do agree.

In the universe parallel to our own, have your wife's critical faculties erased, with a view to conducting an experiment:
1. One universe would be occupied by your current family unit, retaining its present system of checks and balances between both parents in the raising of their child.
2. In the second universe, the family would be lead by a sole parent who'd (a) be unencumbered by any dissenting opinions of the other, and (b) have unfettered decision-making powers in the raising of their child.
Moreover, this one parent would take the view that an image of five characters from The Jungle Book — bound with rope, blindfolded, and presumably waiting to be decapitated by a hooded executioner wielding an axe — is suitable bedroom decor and will have a positive influence on the mental wellbeing and development of their three-year-old toddler.
3. Allow the experiment to run for 13 to 15 years.
4. Then see in which universe the now late-teen shows the least number of full-blown sociopathic tendencies.
5. Call me Nostradamus, but I believe I can foretell the future by predicting the outcome of such an experiment.
