POW and Damaged Print Handling, by smartussi on Dec 13, 2006 20:35:03 GMT 1, Hey all, I received a damaged D-Face Hate print today. I emailed POW about it, how does thisprocess usually work? Will I get a refund? Do they have back-ups to renumber? First time something came damaged, so any info would be greatly appreciated!
oh, and I can't call easily since I am in the USA

POW and Damaged Print Handling, by ratpack on Dec 13, 2006 20:55:55 GMT 1, they have spares on all prints for this sort of situation and I presume they will re-issue providing you send it back to them

Think it's a month off taking orders, I think they'll be getting a lot of the backlog out of the way this month

POW and Damaged Print Handling, by paradoxia on Jan 8, 2007 17:21:08 GMT 1, They will still deal with customer service issues I believe this "time off" is to enable them to go through a restructuring process, especially seeing that Steph is off to pastures new, although I'm sure it will be connected to POW and LAZ in someway or another.

Thats not a good thing in my eyes. Once an edition is numbered that should be the end of it.... If theyre concerned with replacing prints than they should put some of the edition aside. I think here in the states theres actually laws against this type of thing in certain states.

The way they do it is fine, there are never more numbered prints than there should be, the overs aren't numbered unless they replace one which will be destroyed.

POW and Damaged Print Handling, by tranceport185 on Jan 9, 2007 16:06:18 GMT 1, Yep taked with Dora she was very nice, although it does cost almost 20.00USD to send back to London I will get a new print. I think they need to look at using some foam stoppers to stop the print from mashing on the ends. Might help this out as it seems every print I get has damage from shipping.

POW and Damaged Print Handling, by ยฉhief' on Feb 28, 2007 19:15:33 GMT 1, Picked up a Micallef FF from Decembers Ghetto only to find it had a beat up creased top corner. Took the print to the framers for his advice and he assured me he could flatten it out and it would be hardly noticable. I had the print framed and float mounted and 2 months down the line the creases are there and bugging me . Quick email to Dora @ POW explaining my situation and easy peasy, 1 week later I've got a new print ;D. Fantastic service ! Big thanks to Dora and all at POW ;D ;D ;D ;D
