EVERYONE eats here.
If there is a line (and there often is) it is worth the wait.
Good southern fried food.
Fair priced.

Adolfo's
611 Frenchmen St.
3 Blocks from the house.
Hidden upstairs of the small bar Apple Barrel.
One of if not the best italian I have ever had.
Average to upper pricing.

They serve burgers as a dinner.
Good huge portions.
Fair price.
3 minute walk from house.
Court of 2 Sisters.

In the Heart of Quarter on Royal st.
I go there once a visit for the Jazz brunch buffet.
About $30-35 a person.
But the selection is awesome.
Huge courtyard where they play live jazz during brunch.
A real New Orleans feel and experience.

NOLA

Expensive.
In the Quarter on St Louis.
This is the place to take if you really want to spoil someone.
Took my mom and my gf there.
Best service I have ever gotten in a restaurant.
Great food.
Probably $80-120 for 2 people.

This longtime market & deli open 24/7 is known for Creole-inspired sandwiches, entrees & sides.
Plus they deliver!!!
This place for a small deli has an amazing selection of excellent food.

BARS CLOSE TO HOUSE:
Iggy's Bar
Corner dive bar just down the block.
Open 24 hrs or so it seems.
Mixed crowd of locals, tourists, and sometimes questionable characters.
At any rate you can grab a quick drink and take it back to the house.
R Bar.
Only a few blocks down the street.
Usually gets a good crowd.
Corner bar with locals and some hipster types.
Good pool table and always friendly and safe.

Super cool little museum, very cheap and very informative.

The Aquarium.. near Mardi gras world.
The Zoo is pretty cool. Take the street car way out Magazine st.
WWII museum. Very extensive, and impressive.
Most of these things you can buy package deals on together.
Well that should more than keep you busy.
