GDP - Detailed Print Information, by ajr on Jan 31, 2020 12:45:57 GMT 1, There were no different versions - that is just the scammers trying to legitimise their scam. I would advise removing all references to different versions of the prints

GDP - Detailed Print Information, by avec art on Jan 31, 2020 13:17:53 GMT 1, I'm pretty sure something incredibly fishy is going on with this seller. At one point I believe they were selling two rats joined up into a single print. No one fell for it, so I presume he then cut that in half, thus creating two individual rats. I haven't researched thoroughly but just saying what I saw.

GDP - Detailed Print Information, by iamzero on Jan 31, 2020 13:43:39 GMT 1, That seller provides no evidence he worked at the show. At the very least the guy selling his gift print can back up his story with photos of him and a verifiable Instagram account. And the claim there are two editions because the paper sizes differ by millimetres is straight out bollocks. I have framed three Charming Baker prints of the same image and run and they varied in size too. You could always hit the buy it now and use the coat for a Lock Stock fancy dress party though.

GDP - Detailed Print Information, by sbash on Jan 31, 2020 13:51:47 GMT 1, I attended the show every day and managed to gather a few of everything *lucky me*, more importantly I have 14x rat prints. I can confirm that all of my prints are the same size.

GDP - Detailed Print Information, by sbash on Jan 31, 2020 14:55:31 GMT 1, Make of this what you will...... I think you've already figured out this is bullshit. But further, the security guys were all based 'Up-Norf' Manchester I think. This seller's based in London and that coat has never been worn, let alone the Botton hole fact. Please don't waste anymore of your time pursuing. If any good can come from this thread - do report the guy tho! that would be helpful....

Also the image of the allegedly worn coat is different to the one worn in the image of the faceless 'real' agent. The fake claim coat has a button hole on the right collar (as you view it), the genuine coat worn in the image clearly does not ..

GDP - Detailed Print Information, by MrD on Jan 31, 2020 19:07:43 GMT 1, I messaged that guy calling him out with no respons. He didnt work at the show and the info he gave in the listing is definitely incorrect. I know each individual personally and professionally who work at GDP and asked them and noone said that it's there item on ebay. That seller provides no evidence he worked at the show. At the very least the guy selling his gift print can back up his story with photos of him and a verifiable Instagram account. GDP - Detailed Print Information, by met on Jan 31, 2020 19:08:06 GMT 1, Why does the the photo of the coat hanging up have a button hole on the lapel and the one on the chap outside the shop not? The coat worn by the chap outside the shop probably does have a buttonhole on the left lapel (left side for the wearer, above the chest pocket).
This was the case with all the coats worn by GDP attendants, and it can be quickly verified by a Google Images search.
It's a low-res photo in the eBay listing, also taken in low-light conditions at an unclear angle. So the fact we don't see the buttonhole doesn't mean it isn't there:

GDP - Detailed Print Information, by MrD on Jan 31, 2020 19:19:33 GMT 1, Numbers are wrong. Very wrong.
One type of each print no differences apart from the odd misprint and out of alignment ones which were sifted out of the batches before given out.
Sone smudged ones too. But again not given out.
As for gift prints there was 14 of those, all the same too apart from the name.
If you need anything clearing up I'm willing to help apart from specific numbers of the handouts.
I worked for the full 2 weeks so have good insight.
Well, at least its Friday! As we all know the following posters/prints were handed out: - Crisis As Usual - Rat - Thrower So, from what I know (I could be wrong) the following amounts were given out: - Crisis As Usual (250 - 300) - Rat (1000 - ?) - Thrower (250 - 400) I have also read that there are two different sizes of rat prints. Apparently there is a tiny difference between the two. (Total Bullshit) I am wondering if anyone more knowledgeable than myself has any further information to add or to even correct me. I think these could be quite collectable in the future and it would be great to have as much information about them as possible. They remind me of the posters that Tracey Emin gave away at the car boot sale. A lot of fun and very collectible.
