Dear POW, by sammyman on Mar 30, 2007 4:05:46 GMT 1, Thank you for preventing me from buying a Banksy tonight. I guess you guys looked on eBay and found that one McLauchlan print I was selling, or the one Insect print. Bravo! You caught me. Now why was I selling the prints? You obviously assume that I am doing it for profit, just so I can make money off of art, just like what you do for a living.
But what if you are wrong about my intentions. What if I was doing it because I just lost a job, or needed money to keep from filing bankruptcy on my house? What if I am just plain bad with money, and love the art so much and bought way more than I can afford? Where is the crime in this?
Art from your company hangs in every room in my house. Did I buy all of it from you? No, most of it I got from eBay, and from people on forums just like this selling their art.
And now I am being penalized. No Banksy for me. Thank you very very much. I would bet than over 90% of the people on this forum have sold pieces of their collection at sometime. But there will be no penalty for any of them. Just those lucky enough like me. Keep up the good work.
