Has anyone had any experiences, or have any familiarity with, Tanya Baxter and her gallery? She seems very nice, but I see very little about her here and she works she has access to seem VIP level. Those two things don’t seem to match up in my mind.
Went over my head here. Maybe I’m just tired.
This is like one of two threads on the forum her gallery is mentioned.

I think posterbob summed it up quite well from my experience years ago.
When I enquired about some work, I was asked several times what my budget was. That was enough for me to walk away and go elsewhere. This gallery is on the Kings Road, so that type of sales pitch was probably expected, although it's not for me. As you say though, she came across very nice.

My experience was from about 5 years ago, I'm not saying it was bad, just not for me. I steer well clear of any gallery that try and and sell me other works that I have not originally enquired about. I think I just hate all pushy sales people. They must be doing something right to keep the premises where they are. It's just you will be paying top end prices for anything they sell.
