Next release from Banksy on POW?, by Curley on Apr 4, 2007 10:13:45 GMT 1, I feel confident saying that Trolleys will likely be the last of the series released.
Do you not think it would be more fitting that SALE ENDS is the last one released. i think it would say it all.

Next release from Banksy on POW?, by dwight on Apr 5, 2007 2:01:15 GMT 1, Here's my theory. POW is unpredictable, but what is predictable is that they want to sell out whatever they have and keep as many hits coming to their site as possible for the longest time. With this in mind, I think that POW will keep the print that has the most interest for the longest time...

Next release from Banksy on POW?, by BK83 on Apr 5, 2007 2:31:51 GMT 1, Absolutely JollRoger -- although it would be kind of ironic and fitting to have Sale Ends finish off the series, POW is a business and I agree they want to keep the interest as long as they can. I think the next three will be Sale Ends, Capitalism and finally Trollies.
But quite honestly, who knows with POW!

Next release from Banksy on POW?, by johnerotten on Apr 6, 2007 5:28:54 GMT 1, Know where you're coming from ABC, very frustrating experience and I tried 10 minutes of constant refreshing yesterday but I thought sod it, it's just not worth it.
10 minutes isn't going to cut if you want such a popular item. that's the reality of it. also, there were only 300 sepia tone's. there are over 1,000 members on this board alone. even if half of the members aren't "baggers," that leaves over 500 on this board trying to get one. there weren't even enough to go around for everyone who is registered on here.
think about it.
i can't believe how crazy the prices are either but its not that surprising if you really think about it. plus how many of those are sold to "preferred customers?"

everyone is in the same boat when a print comes out on POW. There are no 'preferred customers'. I might not feel like it when the site is being difficult but POW work very hard at being fair.

Next release from Banksy on POW?, by dwight on Apr 7, 2007 2:28:53 GMT 1, I feel quite sure that there are some preferred customers. For example, POW staff, friends of Mr B, shareholders of POW, etc.. Not too many, but I'll bet some prints are spoken for before released on the website..

Next release from Banksy on POW?, by phat planet on Apr 7, 2007 2:37:59 GMT 1, I would be suprised if LAz would not retain some to sell later?? This seems the obvious thing to do if you are running a for profit business.. but your right there I would doubt the full edition that would make it to sale..

Next release from Banksy on POW?, by Joe J on Apr 7, 2007 4:52:55 GMT 1, I'm bloody excited with whatever the next release from Banksy may be.
I own one Banksy print and am looking forward to a few more.
Coming from Australia, I really appreciate the Trolley and I hope people are right predicting this to be the next release.
But a release I keep my fingers crossed for is the little girl with a bleeding nose standing in the middle of a war torn city and a first aid unit is being held back by the media so they can get there classic shot!!!
This is definitely one of my favourites. It’s a haunting visual that depicts something which most definitely occurs.
I'm not sure the correct title of this piece???

Next release from Banksy on POW?, by finsburyparkranger on Apr 8, 2007 19:52:58 GMT 1, Yeah. Didn't Banksy keep some flags for his old bristol workshop to bang out at the same time as Santa's ghetto 2006? If so, it suggests to me he knows the value of loyalty and I would imagine POW will always be graced by Mr B in some capacity.

plus if he has a stake in it, and sees it as a print house to develop talent, let ppl cut their teeth, he can stay their to keep the clout of the place

Next release from Banksy on POW?, by yeah7 on Apr 8, 2007 21:28:10 GMT 1, I don't see why Banksy or Laz would want to move away from POW. I think the current set up works well. Why move elsewhere, what is there to gain from a move?
I'm confident we'll see future releases from POW past the LA prints.
