Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by Rouen Cathedral on Mar 25, 2020 0:06:16 GMT 1, Fake news is chowing this up. Man canโt trust anything these days. In other news. Where is Banksy? Surely banksy is still hitting the streets making art. He flew (sorry for the pun) to China to get away from the virusย
I mean tell me the most banksy thing isnโt hitting the streets during lockdown and painting on a wall.
I mean early banksy would do it. Like those Gen Z spring breakers!

The SARS infection quickly spread from China to other Asian countries. There were also a small number of cases in several other countries, including 4 in the UK, plus a significant outbreak in Toronto, Canada."
ย "In 2004 there was another smaller SARS outbreak linked to a medical laboratory in China. It was thought to have been the result of someone coming into direct contact with a sample of the SARS virus, rather than being caused by animal-to-human or human-to-human transmission."

Always happens on all types of threads , will only get worse after two weeks ? If the general public do not comply with the latest rules more stringent enforcement will occur from the government with lockdowns , more time in the home , more time on the forum , more bickering

The real shame is global political leaders and mass media markets not able to get there stuff together and instead want to play political games while people suffer.
Yet your point about trolls is worth crying about too... I guess.

Based on limited facts.
Trump calls this outbreak, "the Chinese virus" He is pointing the finger at the Chinese government for not telling the world soon enough about this pandemic which resulted in the virus being spread globally and people dying who could have avoided the virus if the information was released by China a lot sooner.
Doctors in Italy were reporting cases of a very virulant untreatable flu as far back as November last year. without being aware of this new virus it spread quickly and became an epidemic in Italy in February. The first known official case of Covid in Italy was a couple who had arrived in Italy from Wuhan China.
"Chinese laboratories identified a mystery virus as a highly infectious new pathogen by late December last year, but they were ordered to stop tests, destroy samples and suppress the news, a Chinese media outlet has revealed.
A regional health official in Wuhan, centre of the outbreak, demanded the destruction of the lab samples that established the cause of unexplained viral pneumonia on January 1. China did not acknowledge there was human-to-human transmission until more than three weeks later."

Who knows the truth and origins of the outbreak.
Is there a connection with the Sars epidemic in 2002
A chimeric or mutated virus?
Scientists say there is no ""evidence"" that the SARS-CoV-2 virus escaped from a lab.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on Mar 25, 2020 1:19:55 GMT 1, Could be a major game changer
I remember the news slightly from the SARS epidemic Global news , math models used as infection spread on the news, supposed to be as bad as it is now , it was portrayed as the first few weeks the uk took notice .. Maybe all countries relied on data from SARS an not expected to spread ? Any way would of thought as a near miss world leaders would have protocols and policies in places learnt from SARS? Years later it may turn out an experiment gone wrong , Dr Kelly's report into weapons of mass destruction and part truth of the Iraqi war tool year to come out

Think all the conspiracy theories are tosh personally. It does raise the question over whether China will do something about their wet and dry markets where this likely originated from? Wouldnโt hurt to also crack down on the illegal trafficking of all sorts of poor creatures globally.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by Terry Fuckwitt on Mar 25, 2020 11:50:44 GMT 1, Does anybody know how many patients that are put on ventilators actually survive? I would have thought that if you are bad enough to need a ventilator to breathe then you're a gonna anyway.
I searched for a bit last night to find these stats, but never came up with anything. They must work for some, otherwise they wouldn't be rushing to get them produced.

A professor of pneumologie yesterday said that people who usually end up on ventilators (for example from the flu) have a 70% chance of recovery. However when intubation is due to covid the percentage of recovery is lower, about 50%.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on Mar 25, 2020 13:21:09 GMT 1, Based on limited facts.

Is there a connection with the Sars epidemic in 2002 A chimeric or mutated virus? Scientists say there is no ""evidence"" that the SARS-CoV-2 virus escaped from a lab. www.the-scientist.com/news-opinion/lab-made-coronavirus-triggers-debate-34502 Think all the conspiracy theories are tosh personally. It does raise the question over whether China will do something about their wet and dry markets where this likely originated from? Wouldnโt hurt to also crack down on the illegal trafficking of all sorts of poor creatures globally. Trump is stirring up a lot of racial hatred , when this is over , there will be a lot of segregated communities . after 9/11 sikhs were targeted as of their clothing which some Americans thought them to be muslims as similar clothing and beards ,not a lot of rational thought , a lot of division still in America with the vast races that live there . if trump feels the need to let the world know his thoughts , he should at least term Chinese government ,it is their policy that let it spread , the population had no clue what was going on yet the government did .

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by Terry Fuckwitt on Mar 25, 2020 13:46:47 GMT 1, Does anybody know how many patients that are put on ventilators actually survive? I would have thought that if you are bad enough to need a ventilator to breathe then you're a gonna anyway. A professor of pneumologie yesterday said that people who usually end up on ventilators (for example from the flu) have a 70% chance of recovery. However when intubation is due to covid the percentage of recovery is lower, about 50%.
Thanks! Not totally reassuring numbers, but 50% of 10's of thousands is a lot.
