With some of these videos i feel like we have no way of knowing when they are from. Its 2020, if someones filming a riot it needs to be in 1080p minimum. There will be problems if the lock down continues. People will demand that the government allows everyone a test for covid and the results will show people without covid and people who had it without knowing etc and those people will not be classed as a risk and demand that they are exempt from the lockdown. Many infected others and one reason for the outbreak in Italy and probably Spain is that people went to hospitals with a severe flu to get treated before the hospitals knew about this new corona virus outbreak. The people treated in hospitals contaminated the hospital and hospital staff and it spread easily with people taking it home and infecting others. Once they knew it was the corona virus they took measures to deal with it.

You have to think there’s almost 40 million people in California and only around 4000 cases. And a lot of the first known cases were diagnosed here. So that seems impressive. Putting the homeless up in hotels was a pretty commendable move as well. NYC on the other hand. They were slow to react. Barely just closed some schools and are paying the price. Big time. Leaders are soo upset about their reaction that I read in rhode island the politicians have the cops going door to door looking for New Yorkers. Apparently by going off of cars w/ New York plates. That blew my mind. Not sure what they do when they find them, give them a spanking and send them home?? 🤷🏼♂️ That just seems like an epic waste of time.

Good news though that my wife’s sisters went out for first time in three months this week in China 👍 hopefully returning back to normal there after strict lockdowns. Everyone slowly returning to work also.

It all gets scary when it's someone close. I've heard a lot of stories now about how bad some are getting it, but a few days later they are fine. Hope she makes a quick recovery and the rest of the family are good.

That’s correct, you’d think they would do that but they don’t want to lock everything down as it will crash the economy, thinking of economy first before lives, they fucked the bushfire response up back in January, now making a balls up of the virus. We are an island yes but last week still leaving cruise ships arrive in Sydney. The virus is already amongst the people and not much social distancing going on, we had local elections here in Queensland yesterday and if you don’t turn up to vote you get fined $130.. totally naive, the election should have been postponed.

So the point I was making, if ur on an island and U don’t have to worry about bordering countries as much and just what u have. Why not just do a proactive quarantine for two weeks and be done as by then the cases should have all come to light and then u can take lighter steps to ensure safety. Seems like going big soon is the answer
We have small population here in Australia I think it’s about 25 million these days, borders between states have been closed this week which is good. A lot harder to control in America, the army should be out there soon to keep people in check. Same in uk my cousin is a commando and he’s in Norway training, he’s been called back to uk ready to help.
In China as well as army, if your a member of the ‘party’ like one of my wife’s sisters, all members go to front line in any crisis and there are millions of party members, they were all sent out to patrol borders and lockdown every village, town, small city. Very strict measures which you have to do with 1.4b people, it’s taken three strict months but has worked.

Why not just do a proactive quarantine for two weeks and be done as by then the cases should have all come to light and then u can take lighter steps to ensure safety. Seems like going big soon is the answer We have small population here in Australia I think it’s about 25 million these days, borders between states have been closed this week which is good. A lot harder to control in America, the army should be out there soon to keep people in check. Same in uk my cousin is a commando and he’s in Norway training, he’s been called back to uk ready to help. In China as well as army, if your a member of the ‘party’ like one of my wife’s sisters, all members go to front line in any crisis and there are millions of party members, they were all sent out to patrol borders and lockdown every village, town, small city. Very strict measures which you have to do with 1.4b people, it’s taken three strict months but has worked. |

I was talking about it being an island and how they have a chance to not end up like Italy or nyc by just doing what California did. We have roughly 40 million people, were one of the first states hit and we are night and day different than nyc. It got political. That wasn’t my intention. I don’t even know U.K. politics. Only Boris was not taking it seriously. I know from a member here Ireland is already having a tough time. I don’t wish that on anyone. I wish that when leaders have millions of people’s lives they are responsible for, that they act like it. In the USA, local governments have more power in how things are run than the feds. So each state has to look to their governor. We have 40 million people in California. So I give Newsom props for him taking care of the homeless like he should have done YEARS ago and taking the bull by the horns to help them off the streets. Hopefully he can do the same to stop the homeless from dying by the thousands on our streets when this is over. That would be nice!
