Read page 16 ๐ Comparing a younger and older person with both having no underlying health issues the Younger person may be at a greater risk than an older person

Read page 16 ๐ Comparing a younger and older person with both having no underlying health issues the Younger person may be at a greater risk than an older person Now just released on the news older age is not the factor , underlying issues are with the elderly ,which have always been reported with every elderly persons death is that they had underlying health issues which everyone has just assumed the elderly are at risk , where as actually they have the best immunity if no underlying health issues . from research papers the real groups most effected are people in pregnancies and the younger age groups of populations if you take underlying health issues out the equation , suppose all will be revealed in the coming months
Also under reporting of the cases and the way the data is released have always stated they can not be used to reference to each countries unless all countries follow the same procedures and use the same controlled tests . it seems the the pandemic is a lot worse than the information that is released to the general public . Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on Apr 2, 2020 0:58:52 GMT 1, For the sake of your mental health, it might be sensible to stop scouring the internet looking for doom and gloom. It's understandable of course, but honestly you seem consumed by it. On YouTube there are videos of people setting fire to farts - maybe take a break and treat yourself to a couple of those. Job setting unfortunately , many people do not realise how serious the pandemic is , not doom and gloom it is reality but stay in your bubble and stay safe I am sure you can amuse your self with such videos as you frequent such tat. Check yourself and I look forward to your drivel and sniping remarks next year if you are still around ๐

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by Jeezuz Jones Snr on Apr 2, 2020 3:08:34 GMT 1, Tough day. My neighbor is in his late 60โs, no family within a few hundred miles. No wife. No kids. And no one to look out for him. He called me up which was weird as I was just outside playing w/ the kids. He would normally just stick his head over the fence. He said he hadnโt eaten for 3 days, his stomach was upset and he was just sweaty and running a fever. Heโs also disabled and really short on cash as an ambulance is around a $4000 ass f**kinghere. He asked me to take him to urgent care. Obviously I didnโt want too. But I put on a mask, gave him one and drove with the windows down. Dropped him off and it was like I was dropping him off at a morgue. Just teams of people outside in hazmat suits and masks. Put him in an outdoor quarantine area and told me to leave although I was just parked in eyeshot in the parking lot. They waved me down and told me to get gone. Crazys**t. Still havenโt heard from them or him as they put me down as his contact person. Itโs been several hours. It doesnโt help heโs not good at texting.
Well done fella for helping him, hope heโs okay ๐

Make sure you properly quarantine your car for a few days.
And also, awesome for being there for those in need. People like you hold society together.

Honestly can't wrap my head around it.

The article is based around a government PHE document
The government preparedness and WHO preparedness strategy policy to deal with a pandemic quotes to use previous infected countries data As the virus would spread rapidly a mathematical model is used to gain an idea of spread of the virus as virus is new and no research data held in newly infected country it will be impossible to produce modelling otherwise
All countries have been using data from China in the beginning which with China delaying reporting the issue and under reported covid 19 cases has created a flaw in the modelling hence lack of action in countries responses using this data
The report written in the article was written with old data that has now been leaked or issued to the media that data used was vastly under reported , hence article and PHE report was written when understanding with data presented at the time concluded the covid 19 not as severe as it is now also noted severity now by the increased actions taken in preparedness for mass casualties now being set up and specialist body retrieval units , more information will be released via main media over the next week .
Nothing to worry about ,we are in safe hands๐ฌ

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by LJCal on Apr 2, 2020 22:15:42 GMT 1, There's an interesting piece here about the difficulties with statistics. "...many will die whether or not they get the virus. Every year, about 600,000 people in the UK die. And the frail and elderly are most at risk, just as they are if they have coronavirus. Nearly 10% of people aged over 80 will die in the next year, Prof Sir David Spiegelhalter, at the University of Cambridge, points out, and the risk of them dying if infected with coronavirus is almost exactly the same." www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-51979654 Despite the media portraying that Caronavirus is killing hoards of young people the fact remains that the average age of patients who have died in the UK is 79, two years shy of the average life expectancy of 81. Iโve seen several opinions stating that the Caronavirus will make no noticeable difference in mortality rates globally this year.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by moron on Apr 2, 2020 23:11:59 GMT 1, I don't know who advised Johnson to do this and waste at least 5 million quid but they should be fired. Johnson has completely missed the point and is out of touch with the people on this. There is no new or usable information in this letter that people do not allready know about. We all know that this pandemic can overwhelm the health service if not dealt with properly. We also know that government advice has been all over the place instead of being direct. The letter is a waste of money and instead put a downloadable letter if Boris has to on the downing street website; Also a downloadable document on the gov website which is printable giving the reasons allowing people to go outside the home and where people can check a box and carry it with them signed with their name address to show police if the are stopped. It won't do a lot but will make people think about why they are not isolating. i will defend the posting Its for.... Old people who don't have internet? oh and they don't have tv either, or read news papers they have radio
