Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on Apr 6, 2020 3:32:47 GMT 1, Has been stated by vetinary surgeries of cases of infected animals with covid 19 and a few handful of cases have made news around the world , but not being picked up on the main media as main research and studies are on humans , and if the wrong information spreads many animals would be abandoned or killed and this is not needed now . one super contagious virus , airborne spread , lasts for up to 78 hours outside of the body , some carriers show no symptoms , may be spread via multiple species , as quoted before what ever government develops the vaccine first and adds a patent they would become a world dominant nation๐ฎ Say it could infect rats and they can spread it, good luck getting rid of them... Just think itโs probably important to look at as if animals can spread it while weโre in quarantine, then quarantines are a giant waste of fukking time. ๐ค I donโt think living like โignorance is blissโ is how we should be rolling right now. I feel like identifying HOW MANY animals can spread it and through what 3rd party sources to humans is paramount to making the right decisions right now. What happens if all dogs cats and rats can have it, but canโt spread it, but bugs like mosquitos, ticks, lice, fleas and bedbugs can spread it via inter species. That would be as**tty ass game changer for sure. Wouldnโt it be nice to know if thatโs a thing?https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/213717/dh_131040.pdf Page 57. Ref. 7.4

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on Apr 6, 2020 4:14:01 GMT 1, Everything is out of the window with this ...must be highly contagious Doesnโt it make you wonder, like Fauci said, if the Chinese claim it came from a wet market, why do they still have them open when they havenโt identified the source? Itโs like playing Russian Woulette... Just eat it, maybe youโll die, maybe you wonโt! ๐ณ I'm sure they are shut down now or in the process , the international community if proven to be the cause will press for closure or sanctions otherwise , there is one shown on the internet being bulldozed with staff in hazmat suits

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by wrigs on Apr 6, 2020 7:34:56 GMT 1, Call me crazy, but I feel like the MOST UNDERRATED topic around C-19 hass**t to do with some idiots violating quarantines and EVERYTHING to do with how many fuucking animals are carriers of thiss**t!! Iโve heard unconfirmed they feel pangolins, snakes and bats are carriers based on prior LIKE viruses. Iโve heard CONFIRMED cases of dogs, cats and now tigers??? How many OTHER animals are carriers? Is it gonna matter at all if we quarantine and then when Fido goes out to take a piss he brings in a dose of C-19 for the family after choking down a cats**t he found? Isnโt one of the drugs theyโre testing on C-19 folks for malaria? ๐ค It makes me wonder if mosquitos are also carriers if they bite these C-19 infected cats, dogs, tigers, bats, snakes or god knows what and then ME. Am I infected now in my lockdown? ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ Not trying to scare folks, trying to think outside the box for a moment. Any thoughts out there? Also, did anyone read how rats are showing promise to treatments to one of the vaccines? I think everyone hears that and are like oh thatโs great. I hear that and Iโm like FUUUUCK, does that mean rats are carriers too? Good luck finding an ANSWER. But clearly, how can they test a drug to cure a disease in a rat if they canโt contract it??? ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ I do understand that some animals can contract it but not pass it onto certain species, like humans for instance, but no one seems to know shiiit on the circle of how the virus wheel amongst species could effect humans (like if a bat bites a dog who has c19, but canโt pass it, gets it, but then the bat bites a human since bats CAN pass it to us) and amongst which animals and species. I canโt find one thing on mosquito to human transmission or how species to species to human transmissions can occur. I kinda feel like no one knows. Sure they know a little or a lot about other or like viruses. But not this one. Hell, China SUPPOSEDLY doesnโt even know who patient zero is or the actual source.
I canโt work out if the above is tongue in cheek or serious? Itโs been around in animals for years.
Perhaps we could quarantine all the animals? ๐ค

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by wrigs on Apr 6, 2020 7:50:01 GMT 1, Ps. In terms of thoughts as you ask that ones obvious, there needs to be a larger state backed global response to the illegal trafficking of animals globally. That should have happened years ago for the sake of the animals not us. Sadly not going to happen anytime soon, China just approved a medicine (clearly will have zero medicinal properties) using bear bile.

Why should he? I hope Boris pulls through, but he'll still be a nasty piece of work.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on Apr 6, 2020 21:24:08 GMT 1,
This is a warning for all if he does not pull through as there really is no cure or medicines available to cease this virus.
He is not a scientist and although wrong actions now known he took ,it is the scientific advisors at fault for the actions that were set that he relied upon. All the actions were taken with foreign data , when government policies state to take actions on home data with mass testing at the earliest opportunity .
Not all is being released to the public still, people are shown dropping down dead suddenly whilst walking in China , if the virus is only severe in final stages and lung capacity is compromised how are these people managing to be walking out in public ?
Highly contagious and now possible to spread the virus by other species , and still not know where it actually originated from , just speculation it is similar to a bats conovirus
Nothing is really working with public order , everyone is still flouting the government instructions, county lockdown one at a time would of been easier to implement and control and carry out testing quicker

I'm not sure where you'd start with the comparisons, or why you even would to be honest.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by Balboa on Apr 6, 2020 21:38:49 GMT 1, A reminder: Hundreds of human beings in the UK were hospitalised with Covid-19 today. Some bus drivers and some NHS workers and numerous other โlow skilledโ human beings fรผcking died from Covid-19 today and over the weekend. A reminder that there's a world outside of the UK and that plenty of people were hospitalised and/or died from things non-C19-related.
None of them had an artist slating them in a print.
This is an art forum. Apologies for turning the subject temporarily to an artist.

I asked a rhetorical question. There was zero need for It to lead to a tirade of swearing or abuse.

I'm beginning to wonder what's worse? A momentary horrible mistake made by a person that has been settled by the UK legal system or the constant goading and inability to let go by persons that have absolutely nothing to do with the issue or people concerned. By all means don't buy his work if it upsets you so much but please can we collectively move on.

It came across as you using the desperately troubling circumstances surrounding the health of our PM, to have a pop at an artist you have a beef with. The link was tenuous at best and pretty insensitive all things considered.

I have no problem with Eine. I have several pieces of his artwork and like them as much now as I did then.
I was purely countering your point about Boris being a nasty piece of work.

Iโm a firm believer of forgiveness and do not have an issue with Ben. Iโve met him and found him to be very pleasant.
I canโt forgive Diego Maradona for what he did in 1986 though, no matter how hard I try.

By all means don't buy his work if it upsets you so much but please can we collectively move on. โThe weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.โ ~ Mahatma Gandhi. I was purely countering the comment about Boris being a nasty piece of work. Iโm a firm believer of forgiveness and do not have an issue with Ben. Iโve met him and found him to be very pleasant. I canโt forgive Diego Maradona for what he did in 1986 though, no matter how hard I try.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on Apr 7, 2020 12:10:53 GMT 1,
What a waste of time when the police could be dealing with vital emergencies ,
Shows the mindset of some and how selfish people are. Wonder if people in India have the same conversations with their police force ?

Whats the line? โIt would be called Amazing Britain if it wasnโt for people like herโ
But in all seriousness, she is extremely luck she lives in the UK and can act like a turd without the police getting physical with her. That policeman is a saint.
