Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by JFCC on Feb 12, 2021 11:43:12 GMT 1, The "VIP" version comes with an ornate but inexpensive frame. On top of the variable prices "VIPs" had to pay they then had to pay for glazing as an optional extra and it is, apparently, actual glass not optium, for an extra £400.
I cannot see any reason for a difference in values between the Raffle and "VIP" versions. The only one that will command a premium over an already high price print is the black hand painted version which is the true V, VIP version.

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by bdr79 on Feb 12, 2021 12:46:37 GMT 1, If I sell my house I would be able to buy this one, I guess. But then I no longer have a place to live. So this is a pass for me :-) I was tempted - sell the house, maybe (and it's a big maybe) enough left for a small tent in the woods but not sure I'd be able to hang them in there, they'd get damp and spoil, pass for moi aussi Hang it on a tree....3 trees.
There you go problem solved.
Get the house on the market......appreciate some pics of the tent and tree's displaying your new art work when transactions are complete.
De Rien

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by irl1 on Feb 12, 2021 14:02:15 GMT 1, Hi Cate,
old school Irish family 10+ kids, all scored in the GDP lottery.
You forgot to add the cushions on your list, Paddy junior will be very upset
Aw the luck of the Irish, fixed the list for you
Cate, Which piece(s) do you think will be worth the most? Your post it's priceless
I am sorry if this has been discussed before and wasn’t sure where to post this so also posted this to the valuation thread. I also realize that no one knows the answer yet because none of pieces of hit the market, but I wanted to get your opinion on the secondary market prices of the following GDP pieces:
- Flower Thrower Print x 2 (provenance Irish V.I.P twins Mary & Joe) - Basquait (Grey / Black) - Rat Clock - Met Ball - Drones (Duck and Cover) - Early Learning Set - Spray Can - Cushions (Sold but more on the way)
Which piece(s) do you think will be worth the most? Are the prints worth more than the sculpture pieces like the Clock and Ball in the long run?
Thanks in advance for your opinion and info!
- Cate

What is so "VIP" about some of these people who then flip the work they have been given exclusive access to? Mr B surely knows whos flipping his work pretty quickly for a massive profit... I bet there are plenty of people on here who probably deserve the VIP status far more.

If Mr B wants to offer me a VIP piece, I could afford it... problem is, I'm just a nobody fan without a connection....

This way they can see who is selling what.
Said that I think anybody in a difficult time and with a print stick on the wall that it is valued big money have the right to sell it.
What I do not understand is people that had access to a private sell directly from PC selling just after few month that is totally unrespectfully.

What I do not understand is people that had access to a private sell directly from PC selling just after few month that is totally unrespectfully.
In 2011 I lost my job but still had a mortgage to pay. It was quite scary as I was 38 at the time and I'd never been out of work. I knew I couldn't get another job in my field quickly (had been trying already for about a year) and that I couldn't make it for more than 6 months on my savings. I made the difficult decision to sell a few prints and go back to uni to do a masters. I then retrained over two years (on minimum wage) and landed the job I always wanted. During that time I also met my wife.
So I may have ended up on a blacklist for selling, if there is such a thing. I always meant to buy back what I'd sold but prices ran away. I will forever be grateful to POW and Banksy for giving me a safety net in some really affordable art. Without it, I would have been in huge trouble. It does, however, irk me a little to see these so called VIPs getting multiple sets of GDP works. I don't think they appreciate how much of a life saver high value items are to "regular" folks.
Anyway, I lost some Banksys but I kept my home, gained a new career, a wife and we have two kids now. I also managed to hold on to my favourite print so it wasn't a complete loss. I will, no doubt, have to part with it one day as the kids grow up but for now it's a great reminder of how I got through a really difficult period. I'm not sure how things would have turned out for me if it wasn't for the generosity of Banksy and the POW team. It is greatly appreciated.
As for the OP, GLWS but please put some of the proceeds towards a good cause too. It will make a difference.

I don't think that limits [on editioned prints] were imposed, prior to Sale Ends V2. Maybe I missed some of the small print from the earlier releases...?

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by Graham H on Feb 12, 2021 17:49:09 GMT 1, So we are believing that the OP was able to buy two Throwers direct from PC?
Could be argued its easy money for them to sell more than one to a person..but it makes no sense for them to do that when they have a waiting list as long as your arm of people with deep pockets that in turn will continue to build up a bigger collector base, which is what the artist wants.
Makes no sense to me..

I doubt he has two. Possible one but would need unique picture posting or a established member on here to confirm.
Check his old posts asking for price ranges for GDP items, then suddenly he has two unique works direct from GDP. Cmon..

don't know why anyone in their right mind would sell anything. I fear to much to be put on their Black List...
