Larger works are fully priced but some of the smaller paintings and works on paper are not bad value, and there is talk of a few museums picking up pieces from the exhibition. I took a punt on one of the medium size works on board, which is beautifully executed in my view.
Other artists to keep an eye on are: Sanya Kantarovsky (he has a print for sale at the moment, pm for details), Caroline Walker (prints can be bought/waiting list for OGs), Tala Madani, Maria Ferrer (some works on paper kicking about), Josh Smith (print kicking about/ogs are quite expensive), Tschabalala Self (OGs are bucks but issues the odd print), and Harold Ancart.
Interested to hear any others members are watching.

I actually sent an enquiry about a couple of the Charlotte Keates pieces earlier today. I am unfamiliar with some of the others you’ve mentioned so going to have to look into them. Thanks for sharing.

Agreed, I would love one of her paintings but when i saw the prices i realised my pockets are not deep enough! I did manage to snap up a couple of ink on paper pieces from the Arusha gallery's recent online exhibition though.

Charlotte Keates work is stunning, highly recommend peeps check out her new works, think there is availability Agreed, I would love one of her paintings but when i saw the prices i realised my pockets are not deep enough! I did manage to snap up a couple of ink on paper pieces from the Arusha gallery's recent online exhibition though. They are quite high for an emerging artist but her work has quite strong commercial appeal so think they’re charging what they can get away with. Her small canvasses and works on paper are fairly accessible though and probably more practical than some of the larger works. I’ll be interested to see how her secondary market progresses, personally I rate her ahead of some of her piers who are commanding big auction figures. |

Interesting pejac keeps being brought up.
Majority of murmure work has been trash bags and while pejac is blasted for being repetitive...well yeah trash bags.
