POW Problem - What Should I Do?, by jnschicago on Jul 25, 2007 16:35:07 GMT 1, On the day the new Insect prints were released (Peace and Sid), I managed to get both in my basket. Then, I proceeded to checkout. I got through all of POWs pages successfully and was forwarded to ProTX for final payment. I registered everything there but at the VERY last step (confirmation) I received an error message. Regardless, I received a confirmation email from ProTX for the full amount. Additionally, the full amount showed up on my credit card statement. However, the next day, half of the amount was credited back to my credit card account. I forwarded my confirmation number and the full story to Dora almost a week ago. So far, no response. What should I do next?

POW Problem - What Should I Do?, by scavos on Jul 25, 2007 16:47:54 GMT 1, Hi John & welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your problem. The POW checkout leaves much to be desired. I would send another polite reminder by email to Dora and copy another staff member into it just in case she is away. Perhaps another forum member could give you a contact number for POW? From experience, I have to say that despite the checkout problems, Dora has always been very helpful and does what she can. Aftersales service is known to be good. Good luck.

POW Problem - What Should I Do?, by jnschicago on Jul 25, 2007 18:39:18 GMT 1, UPDATE: They just told me there was a problem with the transaction. Despite the fact that I was assigned a confirmation number, reserved a specific print (#31) and billed (but later credited), they said that I did not receive the Sid print (now sold out). Do I have any recourse at all? This is total B.S.

POW Problem - What Should I Do?, by pezlow on Jul 26, 2007 9:55:01 GMT 1, Happened a lot with the Morons release. The problem is that for POW the sale of the numbered print is confirmed with them once the payment is confirmed from PROTX. So if you don't go back for the confirmation page your numbered print is reallocated to someone else. With Morons because the whole site crashed for a few hours I think they were able to help out those for whom this happened.
Sorry to hear about your bad luck. If it's any consolation reckon you shouldn't have too much trouble picking one of these up off the bay.
