Not many available even though its a big edition, I'm not surprise, I imagine whoever was lucky enough to get one will hang on to it. you do realise you are posting in a thread where 1 is for sale and another would be anxious seller is drooling at big numbers ? Theres 2 folks who were lucky enough to secure one but wishing to sell in the same thread...

Even more evidence that there really aren't many for sale. Fantastic print, and great cause, a nice gesture from HM and well done to the owners for stumping up their cash for the NHS.
How much were they please? I must have snoozed through this drop

Harland Miller โข Who Cares Wins Print, by Horatio Nelson on Nov 7, 2020 22:10:51 GMT 1, I was exceptionally lucky to be allocated one of these (my first HM).
How have people framed theirs (and other HM prints)?
I see Nomis21โs black frame and it looks exquisite, especially on the dark wall.
Virtually all of my art is in white box frames and all my walls are white. So white box frame seems like the safe option here but open to other suggestions! My print will be with Darbyshire shortly but I think consultations will be virtual rather than in person, which I suspect will make it a bit harder to appreciate what certain frame/colour combos will actually look like in the flesh.

Harland Miller โข Who Cares Wins Print, by Theories 123 on Nov 12, 2020 23:16:52 GMT 1, I laugh when I enquired about this print, as I was already talking to maddox about some miller pieces, as to whether they'd get any. Was told no and that they would increase too much on the secondary to be a good investment. Now they have one available it's another story...

Harland Miller โข Who Cares Wins Print, by Poster Bob on Nov 28, 2020 12:50:10 GMT 1, Just a question, were there not any conditions attached the sale of these regarding reselling? As there often are at the bigger galleries, or are White Cube happy for these to be sold on so quickly? I understand you need the money and this isn't aimed specifically at the OP but would the terms not suggest that this should be offered back to the gallery in the first instance? Harland Miller โข Who Cares Wins Print, by Horatio Nelson on Nov 28, 2020 14:49:34 GMT 1, Just a question, were there not any conditions attached the sale of these regarding reselling? As there often are at the bigger galleries, or are White Cube happy for these to be sold on so quickly? I understand you need the money and this isn't aimed specifically at the OP but would the terms not suggest that this should be offered back to the gallery in the first instance? Seeing as you asked... my Who Cares Wins invoice states under term 1:
โThe Work has been created by Harland Miller (the โArtistโ) with all sales proceeds going to charity. Commercial resale is strictly forbidden. If you wish to re-sell the Work, please contact White Cubeโ.
Itโs slightly different to the T&C for other items Iโve bought from the gallery - I imagine that each artist will insist on slightly different T&Cs. E.g. another invoice from the gallery for another artist I bought from there states:
โIf the Purchaser makes the work available for resale: a. It must be offered back to White Cube at fair market value; White Cube shall have the right of first refusal to buy back the Work, or to take. The Work on exclusive consignment, at fair market value [...] and; b. The Purchaser shall ensure that the party acquiring the Work (the โRe-Purchaserโ) enters into a binding agreement which gives White Cube equivalent rights in relation to the Work as those provided for [...] above should such Re-Purcaser wish to sell the workโ.
Anyway, I make no judgment re OP as to if/how he/she is complying with the terms - weโre all adults. We donโt know if he purchased directly from the gallery (if not, he would not be bound by the White Cube terms for this piece) or whether he has contacted the gallery as required. There is an open question as to what is meant by โCommercial resaleโ as opposed to mere โresaleโ. Is a private treaty sale between two individuals a commercial sale (as opposed to a gallery selling)? Probably, but itโs not clear. I imagine a further sale for charity would not be caught by this prohibition either.
Anyway, GLWS.
