To coincide with Christmas, Reflex is delighted to invite you to the launch of the newest edition by Harland Miller
Saturday, December 20th from 5 - 7 pm
Harland Miller will be present to sign the re-print of his successful book I'll Never Forget What I Can't Remember.
The new print will be available in two sizes (64 x 50 cm and 138 x 110 cm) and can be ordered from now on at a subscription price of 1.600 ยฃ for small and 2.500 ยฃ for large size excl. Vat. during a limited period of time.
The prints are currently in production and expected to be ready for collection/delivery by December 20th.

This silkscreen print is part of a series by Harland Miller in which he adopts the image of a Penguin Classics paperback book jacket from the 60s. The painted vertical bands of red either side of the bookโs title, which signify the genre 'Theatre and Plays', become emotive and textural colour fields here. With their dripping paint and smudgy blurring, they have more in common with the aesthetic of Rothko than the uniformity of a mass-produced paperback

I have always thought the same, I do like a few of the catchy quotes.. But what's his history? He's an author first? Been meaning to read a book of his, they any good ? Anyone? Has he been hyped in recent years or always been a sort after artist commanding high prices?

I don't know if there's any print (including Banksy prints) I'd shell out that much money for. For prices that high, you might as well go a little higher and find an OG from an artist you enjoy I think these prints are alright, but nothing ground breaking. |
