At least Harland Miller made his print a 250 numbered edition.....
IMO Would have been much better if Kaws made a large edition or editions like HM as he would have raised Mega $$$ for charity
and satisfied more collectors/fans

Surely will keep going but not gonna get any easier to snag one. |

We just finished the NGV Puzzle together, and to say the least, we're all pretty psyched!! It's a bit odd they require a bank transfer, and no option for credit card.. but maybe that's normal? I helped them submit the final invoice and payment today.
Each print is 25 with 5 artist proofs.
The first was Snoopy, aka No Ones Home 2015; (as we all know from the ngv puzzle release).
The second, Astro Boy, aka UNTITLED 2014; www.phillips.com/article/47554989/first-reveal-kaws-now-on-view-at-the-box
The 3rd, a dolphin shape, aka Piranhas When You're Sleeping, 2016; www.artsy.net/artwork/kaws-piranhas-when-youre-sleeping-16
And the 4th, the Felix shape, aka Ankle Bracelet, 2017; www.artnet.com/artists/kaws/ankle-bracelet-a-Bmg7Cw9JrvQuvMKvTJ0PGw2
Just speculating, but it seems like they're all cut from the same "pattern." So each the same shape, but from different sections of the "pattern" so they'd all be uniquely colored similar to the Brooklyn Museum and MOCAD prints.
I have a feeling we're going to see a bunch more of these. I feel like we're going to see:
- Warm Regards
- Chum
- Another snoopy (Stay Steady or The Things That Comfort)

I personally think that none of them should be called out for doing something for a good cause. Just interesting to see the pecking order on the forum:)

I think many view Connors as hacky opportunists, whereas KAWS an actual artist. It is easy to cast stones at others, especially when on oneโs keyboard.
