Andy Warhol Catalogue Raisonne (3 books including all paintings and sculptures and amazing tidbits and photos from '61-'69 so far). Unfortunately, it's rather expensive, and a chaper alternative is the book "Giant Size".
I bought Andy Warhol (Richard Polsky) for a hilarious read on various artists, collectors, and dealers in the market.
Pop Art: A Continuing History (marco livingstone). The most complete and informative read on the last major movement covering both sides of the pond.

Recommended Art Books, by Pattycakes on Jun 12, 2008 12:12:18 GMT 1, I'd say two of the most usefull books I own are Contemporary Art in Print II and III these are published by Charles Booth-Clibborn and the Paragon Press, and are a complete catalogue of the editions he's published, great if you are into Hirst, Chapmans, Doig, Quinn to name a few.

Taschen pubished a remarkable little tome (sic) on erotic art that indeed carried said title. In which Jeff Koons demonstrates how he has produced some very interesting work in his time; none more so than with his then wife, Cicciolina.
Seriously, it's also (literally) fookin' ace!

Victor Pasmore - the Norbert Lynton book - if you like British abstract ary - part of the Euston Road school.
Armsrock - All My Friends Are Made Of Paper - beautiful little book.
They'll keep you going and all stunning.
