Recommended Art Books, by Skizz 82 on Dec 2, 2023 22:25:30 GMT 1, Bordalo II released a set of two hardback volumes featuring more than 300 artworks, 558 pages from different series of works and where the artist leaves several comments and unveils some of the stories behind the pieces. www.bordaloii.com/product/bichos-de-lixo-2nd-editionHard to prove in photos but question asked and comment in IG post suggest it is in English. However, shipping alone to US is 100€ making it a costly item.
Anyone knows if the second edition also is signed?

onlineshop.oxfam.org.uk/julian-opie-collected-works/product/HD_301629838?sku=HD_301629838
Great book, great price, and a good cause.

Recommended Art Books, by Lroy on Dec 9, 2023 19:42:08 GMT 1, About the post that I made on Saieo an artist that merits to be known !
Rip Saeio born in 87 and died in a car crash in 2017. His crew was PAL ( Peace And Love) . He was 29 and his artworks are spectacular and awesome in a so short period.
legrandjeu has in stock the new edition ( 2023 - too many demands for it) of the 2017 book ( in French and English)! There is also a supplement written by a historian, coming with as the close friends and the family prefered that the article/critic initially in the first book should be apart for the new edition. It’s call “ Transmissions et Mythologies ( in English too if you choose)
The book : shop.legrandj.eu/products/sae-2009-2014 The supplement : shop.legrandj.eu/products/j?variant=47979469570383
Edit : for those that missed the drop, Le Grand Jeu will get some Of the last Cleon Peterson book.

Recommended Art Books, by Terry Fuckwitt on Dec 16, 2023 12:34:47 GMT 1, Not sure if this has been posted in another thread, but looks like a nice gift to buy for yourself www.pavementlicker.com/shop/the-dragon-bar-book?
By Josh Jones and James-Lee Duffy. Pre order our 300 page oral history of the infamous Dragon Bar in London. A bar with only a loose grip on rules, it had gloriously graffitied toilets, a bit out the back, which became a space for the London graffiti community to paint and gather, and a free gallery space upstairs where Banksy held his first Santa’s Ghetto/first London show, FAILE and Bäst did their first UK show and many, many others exhibited.
The Dragon Bar was, arguably and unwittingly, the birthplace of the ‘street art explosion’. We spoke to pretty much every artist (and staff and wild regular drinkers) who exhibited, drank and had a lot of fun there, including Banksy, Ben Eine, fashion designer NOKI (who was the original door person and would cut people’s ties off if they tried to get in wearing one), FAILE, Laura Lees, Toasters, Lucie Flynn, Mode 2, James Jessop, INVADER and many more.

This brexit and taxes, are really sucking all international art human lovers !

Does look like an interesting book though.
