Disagree wholeheartedly.  I think it is a great piece.  I think it is more of the idea that the house is in the head... in that the house is being thought of/dreamed about.

Grabbed one too.... if you're framing it up using one of these could you post pics? I like the £9 option more for this print than the amount my framers will charge, but would love to see one done that way first! No Ikea for 40 miles... not just being tight

Askew One, an urban artist from New Zealand recognized worldwide for his unique approach to graffiti art, has remained at the forefront of the international art scene for over 20 years. Throughout his career, his work has constantly evolved to explore new styles and techniques. His most recent work features layered and vibrant portraits of female subjects from the Pacific region that emanates the historic and modern dispersion of Pacific people. Askew One’s kaleidoscopic and textured paintings for “Oceanic” express how people determine their belonging to the social “tribes” of today amidst their ancestral identity.

Fintan Magee is a leading figure in Australia’s contemporary urban art movement. His figurative paintings and murals often inhabit the isolated and abandoned corners of the city. Magee’s work explores themes of waste, consumption and tumultuous environmental conditions, while containing a soft sentimentality influenced by children’s books. Painted with watercolour, acrylic and oils on paper and heavily influenced by pop surrealism and social realism, Fintan Magee’s new works explore themes around Australiana and identity. Drawing on personal experience, he creates a narrative surrounding his experience with the 2011 Brisbane floods and explores greater issues of climate change and the environment.

A limited edition collaborative print by Askew One and Fintan Magee will be available at the exhibtiion and online.

Great to catch Askew who was kind enough to sign & dedicate 1x Print.. for me the liddle one.. chuffed to bits he was.. as he hadn't seen the 1x print completed.. liddle one was pretty impressed too.
