It should be noted that I didn't think the Valentine's Day piece was by Banksy so I am undoubtedly wrong! Aaaaand it looks like I'm reading into things that aren't there. The shot from banksy.co.uk is a bit clearer. Still no idea what it is. 
Having visited Cut & Run over the weekend, I can confirm that I was indeed not thinking straight during lockdown, and it was simply lace (like a curtain) in the mouse hole in Banksy's bathroom.
